Chapter 6 Bet

Zuan stared at her fair and delicate little fist, and for a moment he couldn't help but question his life.

"It's not satisfying for me to personally beat up a weakling like you," Chu Huanzhao whistled outside, "Hey simp, come in!"

Zuan: "???"

Such a young girl already has a simp? Aren't men in this world afraid of needing at least three years of extra attention?

Woof~

When Zu'an heard a dog barking in the distance, he realized he had misunderstood. It turned out she was calling for a real dog. But the way she named it... tsk tsk tsk, it seems to be a family trait.

However, his smile quickly vanished as a creature the size of a leopard rushed in, its bright green eyes fixed on him.

Although it looks similar to a dog, its size is just too ridiculously large!

"Good boy~" Chu Huanzhao half-squatted and affectionately stroked the monster's head. The monster's tail kept wagging, clearly enjoying it very much.

Looking at the enormous creature before him, Zuan couldn't help but swallow hard: "You call this thing a dog?" Noticing the bloodstains still on its mouth, he finally understood why he had heard chewing sounds outside.

"Hmph, now you know fear, huh?" Chu Huanzhao sneered repeatedly, pointing at him, "You simp, bite him! Bite him hard!"

Upon receiving the command, the large dog pounced towards Zu'an with a whoosh, its movements so practiced and seamless that it was clear it had done this many times before.

Seeing the gaping maw, Zu An was terrified. If he were bitten by such a big dog, it could probably bite off his arm. The key point was that he knew how terrible rabies was. Who knew what kind of virus was in that dog's mouth? There was no rabies vaccine in the world. If he was bitten, there was no way to save him.

Moreover, it just ate a raw rat, so it might have the plague virus!

Zu An's body reacted faster than his brain, and he hurriedly jumped to the side. The stool next to the bed was pounced on by the dog and immediately fell to pieces.

Damn it!

Zu An didn't think his body was as sturdy as that stool, so he ran even more desperately. He wanted to run to Chu Huanzhao's side and use her body to hide, since she said she wouldn't take action herself. Who knew that the other party had already run outside and was watching his disheveled appearance through the window with schadenfreude.

The crucial point is that she even closed the door!

While cursing her mother and sisters in his mind, Zuan started running around the table. He knew he couldn't outrun the big dog in terms of speed, so he could only run around in circles and keep changing direction to avoid it.

The dog was too big to crawl under the table, which gave him a chance to catch his breath.

But this body was already weak, and it had been struck by lightning before. It had just been punched again. Before long, Zuan felt like his lungs were about to explode. Several times he felt a chill on the back of his head and could faintly smell the stench from the giant dog's mouth behind him. He was only holding on by his willpower.

Actually, it was quite unexpected that he could run for so long. It must be thanks to his previous cultivation of the "Phoenix Nirvana Scripture," which slightly enhanced his physique. However, since he had only just begun cultivating, it couldn't help him deal with such a huge beast.

"You stupid dog! Why do you have to chase after me? Can't you just jump over the table?" The girl outside the window stomped her feet, her originally clear and melodious voice now sounding like a demon.

The giant dog seemed to understand its master's words, let out a howl, and leaped up from the table, pouncing towards Zu'an.

In his haste, Zuan hurriedly lifted the table to shield himself, but the giant dog's head smashed through the table and lunged at him.

Fortunately, its body was wedged behind the table. Zuan leaned against the ground, his hands braced against the table, and his feet kicked the dog's belly desperately. In this life-or-death situation, he exerted all his strength, but the difference in strength between the two sides was too great, and the giant dog's head was still getting closer and closer to him.

The stench was overwhelming, and the giant dog's saliva dripped onto his face. Its two front paws scratched incessantly, and the tabletop, which seemed made of paper, was soon riddled with holes.

Looking at the other party's dagger-like teeth and claws, Zu An felt a chill in his heart. "I'm going to be killed by a dog. It's a disgrace to the transmigration world!"

Wait, a dagger?

Zuan suddenly had a flash of inspiration and remembered that the dagger he had drawn earlier was poisoned.

He frantically pressed B to summon the dagger from his inventory. Just as he got it in his hand, the rickety table finally gave way and collapsed completely. The giant dog howled and bit down, striking the dagger squarely.

Since its name is "licking dog," it's obvious that it loves licking things most of all. The giant dog subconsciously licked something, but the tip of its tongue was cut by a sharp dagger. Then, a strange and obscure black rune instantly enveloped its entire body. It paused, then fell straight down, never to breathe again.

"Really dead?" Zuan breathed a sigh of relief. He had no strength left to think about anything else and collapsed to the ground, not even wanting to move a finger.

"What's wrong with you, you simp?" Chu Huanzhao, who was outside the window, had initially seen her beloved dog gaining the upper hand, but the situation reversed in the next second. She ran in to check on it, completely puzzled, but no matter how she called out to it, the dog did not respond at all.

"You actually killed my lapdog!" Chu Huanzhao finally realized that his beloved dog was dead, and he instantly bristled.

Anger level +233!

Zaun was too weak to respond, but he still subconsciously put the poisoned dagger back into his inventory. Hiding was the best policy; he should avoid revealing his trump cards if possible.

With the giant dog's figure and the table blocking the view, the other party probably didn't see what happened.

"You'll pay for my life as a simp!" Chu Huanzhao's eyes were filled with tears. Her parents were busy with official business, and her sister was away from home all year round. There was hardly anyone in the mansion to play with her. Her simp was practically her only friend.
