Zuan stared warily at the enormous creature before him. It was over ten feet tall and brown all over. At first, he thought it was some kind of demonic beast, but it had no life force at all. However, its appearance was very similar to a human, only much larger.
"This is... a robot?" Zuan asked in disbelief.
At this moment, Jiang Luofu stopped him: "Don't worry, this is Fourth Senior Brother's gatekeeper puppet. He probably mistook you for an invading enemy because he has never seen you before."
After saying that, he took out a token and held it out in front of the puppet: "I have something to ask my fourth senior brother."
A red glint flashed in the puppet's eyes as it landed on her token, followed by a stiff, monotonous voice: "Identity verified, proceed."
After speaking, the puppet turned to the side and slowly sat down on the ground. The red light in its eyes faded, and it sat there like a lifeless statue, completely devoid of the imposing aura it had displayed just moments before.
Zuan kept turning back, his expression somewhat excited. A robot! For a moment, he felt as if he had returned to the Earth world he had known before.
