Upon seeing Salami, Zaun couldn't help but glance at the distant mountain peaks, wondering if Manman and the others were safe.
"The young lady is asking you a question, why aren't you answering?" Mogard stepped forward from behind and stared at him coldly.
Zuan replied calmly, "I have a business relationship with Miss, not that I am her subordinate. Please show some respect."
"You!" Moggard roared in fury, "You're asking for death!"

Suddenly, a powerful aura erupted from his body.
But the next second, Salami placed her hand on him: "Uncle Mo, don't be angry. Actually, what the young master said is right. We are just cooperating."

Upon hearing this, Moghad's face darkened, and he quietly moved to the other side, flanking him with Salami on either side, as if ready to attack him at any moment.
Zuan glanced at her in surprise: "Why would I have something to do? I just met with you. Even if the Demon Lord is well-informed, he wouldn't know so quickly, would he?"
Salami smiled with relief: "What you say makes sense, young master. We overreacted."
Moghad wanted to say something, but seeing the young lady's subtle gesture, he swallowed his words.

Watching his figure disappear into the distance, Morgad approached Salami from behind: "Young lady, do you really believe what he said?"
“What does it matter if we believe or not?” Salami smiled. “Whether he is loyal or treacherous, as long as he can get things done for us, that’s all that matters.”
Mogard couldn't help but admire her: "Young lady is brilliant!"
Meanwhile, Zu An returned to his cave and saw Ji Xiaoxi nervously guarding the entrance. Her timid yet brave appearance, holding her weapon and craning her neck to look outside, warmed his heart. Xiaoxi was truly adorable, and every time he saw her, he wanted to give her a good rub.
