"Will I fall down here again?" Bi Linglong's face was deathly pale; she clearly didn't want to go through what had just happened again.
"It shouldn't be anytime soon." Zuan observed the floating island. It wasn't very big, only a few hundred square meters. It had rocks and trees on it and was floating in the air.
He had seen such things in movies or games before, so he wasn't surprised. He just couldn't figure out how it could float, even though everything else was falling down.
Meanwhile, a thick layer of black fog had unknowingly rolled into the sky below, and soon the red mark was obscured by the fog and became difficult to see.
Lightning flashed and thunder roared amidst the dark, heavy clouds, with many bolts seemingly rolling within the clouds.
“These clouds seem to be increasing, and they seem to be rising at a visible speed?” Bi Linglong was saying when suddenly a huge fireball fell from above.
"Watch out!" Zu An reacted quickly and pulled her behind him.
The enormous fireball grazed the edge of the floating island and fell down. Even though it only grazed the edge, it still caused the ground beneath their feet to shatter, and a small portion of the floating island broke apart and fell down.
The entire floating island trembled violently, as if it were about to fall apart at any moment.
Realizing that the floating island was still unstable, Zuan hurriedly led her to the very center of the island.
"Are we going to die?" Bi Linglong clung tightly to his arm, feeling the floating island tremble. She knew that once the floating island shattered, falling into it would be certain death.
