Chapter 904 The Crossroads of Fate

The girl with the green feathers felt every hair on her body stand on end, every cell in her body screaming for help.

After years of great war between the demon race and the demons, the remaining demons are already very familiar with the famous powerful demons.

King Morgad of the Unfaithful Clan, countless demon masters have met their demise at his hands.

She couldn't understand why the other party would appear here. It was just an envoy, so why would it require such an important figure to come in person?

However, she didn't have time to think it through. She changed direction and smashed through the window to escape to the other side.

“Escape? Not so easy,” Moghad sighed. “Escape is prohibited here!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the entire room was suddenly illuminated by beams of golden light.

A powerful aura filled this place.

The girl in emerald feathers suddenly felt incredibly heavy all over, as if countless mountains were pressing down on her. She could no longer use her light and agile movements and fell directly from the sky.

She gritted her teeth, raised the emerald feather in one hand, and thrust her longsword straight at him. She knew she was no match for this great demon, but sitting and waiting to die was not in her nature; she had to fight.

Seeing her actions, a hint of mockery flashed in Moghad's eyes: "Resistance is forbidden here!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the feathered girl could no longer hold onto the feather and the longsword, and they fell to the ground.

Seeing this, the girl with the green feathers was stunned and fell into deep despair.

The gap between the two sides is too large; there's no chance of a fight.

"Peacock Feather?" Mogard's gaze fell on the feather on the ground. "I originally thought the Dragon King was courting death, but it turns out you are the Peacock Princess from the demon clan delegation."

Princess Kongque's heart sank to the bottom; her plan to frame someone had completely failed.

"Princess, run!" Just then, two exclamations rang out, and two beams of light, one white and one black, rushed directly toward Mogard.

"Hmph, overestimating yourselves!" Mogad sneered, and with a casual wave of his hand, the longswords in the hands of the two guards twisted into pretzel shapes.

The two guards' pupils contracted sharply. Before they could react, they were struck hard in the chest and fell to the ground like sandbags, their fate unknown.

"Susu, Xuanxuan!"

Princess Peacock's eyes widened in horror, but she clearly felt the restraints around her loosen slightly.

She didn't even bother to pick up the weapons and magical artifacts on the ground. With a light tap of her toes, she used the Peacock Clan's movement technique. A bunch of illusory wings spread out behind her, and her figure disappeared into the distance like lightning.

She suppressed her grief; the two had just fought desperately for this chance of survival, and she couldn't let their efforts go to waste.

If we stay there and try to save them, in the end no one will be able to leave.

She still has a sliver of hope. If she manages to escape, she can promptly notify the demon race. King Mogard of the Unruly Kingdom has personally come to the sea tribe, clearly with grand ambitions. The Holy Maiden must be prepared.

Moghad did not chase after them. He stood still and ordered, "Princess Peacock is already seriously injured and cannot escape far. Go and bring her back."

A mere peacock princess is not worth him personally pursuing.

"Yes!" Upon hearing the news, the demon experts who rushed over all chased after the direction in which Princess Peacock had disappeared.

Morgad arrived at the spot where Princess Peacock had just stood, and with a casual gesture, the longsword and peacock feather on the ground appeared in his hand. A faint smile appeared on his face: "This little girl has given me some inspiration. We can do it this way too..."

Meanwhile, in the Mermaid Queen's palace, she was sitting by the window, deep in thought, when she suddenly heard a commotion from the Dragon Palace.

She hurriedly summoned her maid: "What's going on outside?"

Soon a maid came to report: "Your Majesty, it seems there have been assassins. The palace guards are now conducting a large-scale search."

"An assassin?" The mermaid queen frowned slightly. "Who would attempt an assassination at this time?"

"I don't know either. I think I just saw some powerful demons conducting a large-scale search," the maid replied.

"Demons?" The Mermaid Queen's expression changed slightly, and she immediately stood up, saying, "Quick, come with me to see!"

After saying that, he took the lead and walked out.

The maid was taken aback and hurriedly told the merman guards to follow.

The Mermaid Queen and her entourage had not gone far when they were stopped by a group of Dragon Palace guards: "Mermaid Queen, the palace is currently hunting down assassins. For your safety, please return to the palace to rest first."

The Mermaid Queen said calmly, "I'm getting a little bored in the palace and want to go out for a walk to clear my head."

“But it’s too dangerous now,” the head guard said with concern, while secretly glancing at the other person. A look of amazement flashed in his eyes. The mermaid queen was even more beautiful than the legends said. No wonder all the brothers wanted to work outside her palace.

Protecting such a stunning beauty is truly the happiest thing in the world.

The Mermaid Queen smiled slightly: "Thank you for your concern, General. However, I have so many guards under my command, and I am no ordinary person myself. Even if we encounter an assassin, I am not afraid. Perhaps I can even help the Dragon King catch the assassin."

The other woman smiled sweetly, and the head guard felt a little dizzy.

She smiled at me.

She smiled at me!

She smiled at me!

That "General" made his bones melt. Could it be that the Queen admires my bravery and has developed feelings for me?

He straightened his back and said somewhat obsequiously, "The palace is not safe now, so why don't I escort the Queen for a while?"

The Mermaid Queen frowned slightly. She was on her way to rescue the assassin, whose identity she didn't know, so how could she go with the Dragon Palace guards?
