Then he turned around and continued walking inside. The guards had suddenly disappeared, and it was likely that someone would notice something was wrong soon. They had to seize the last bit of time to rescue Princess Peacock.
Zuan followed behind her, a slight smile playing on his lips. Judging from his tone, he really was the Mermaid Queen.

“I…our contract isn’t finalized yet,” Zaun replied somewhat awkwardly.
