Chapter 5 Will you... stay?

The Jiang family's house was in chaos all night.

Apart from Jiang Li, a newcomer, none of the Jiang family members slept soundly.

The next morning, Jiang Li got up early to exercise. When she returned, the others gradually got up and sat down at the dining table.

Jiang Chenghao's face was disfigured, and his arm, which had been broken by Jiang Li, was hanging in front of his chest. He exuded a strong aura of resentment.

Jiang Li frowned under Jiang Chenghao's gaze. She looked up at him and asked, "Why are you staring at me like that?"

"You still have the nerve to ask?" Jiang Chenghao pointed to his face and shook his arm. "Don't you want to say something about what you've done?"

"Fourth brother, shut up!" Jiang Chengxi stopped Jiang Chenghao with a displeased expression.

If he had successfully tricked Jiang Li, that would have been fine, but he ended up like this, which is really embarrassing.

How dare he even mention it!

Last night, when Jiang Chenghao thought Jiang Li was stunned, he reached out and touched Jiang Li's shoulder.

Jiang Li used a grappling technique and then twisted it forcefully, breaking Jiang Chenghao's arm.

That is, it's dislocated.

When he released Jiang Chenghao, Jiang Chenghao turned around and saw the skull with blood and tears streaming down its face. He screamed in fright and tripped over something on the ground in his panic, scraping his face and disfiguring himself.

This just so happened to fulfill Jiang Li's prediction of a bloody disaster.

They called the family doctor over that night to examine Jiang Chenghao and confirm that he was alright before everyone went back to their rooms.

Jiang Xueqi looked at Jiang Chenghao's arm, then at Jiang Li, "Jiang Li, you were too ruthless to Fourth Brother. You should apologize to him right now, and let's not talk about this anymore."

"I thought you already knew what happened yesterday," Jiang Li said irritably. "I haven't even received his apology yet, and you actually want me to apologize to him?"

If it were any other young girl, being treated like this would probably drive her to the brink of mental breakdown.

She was just giving Jiang Chenghao a little lesson to teach him a lesson.

Pranks are fine, but this is going too far.

"But……"

“You should be glad I wasn’t holding a knife,” Jiang Li said slowly. “Even if I had killed him under those circumstances, it would have been his own fault.”

Jiang Xueqi shut up.

"I'm full." Jiang Li quickly finished her breakfast and stood up. "I'll wait for you outside."

"Mom, look at her!" Jiang Chenghao said angrily.

Su Ruan looked at her fourth son and said with a complicated expression, "Fourth son, I didn't expect you to hate her so much."

"It's all because she hit Xueqi, of course I have to stand up for Xueqi." Jiang Chenghao said angrily, "Our little sister whom we've doted on since childhood, do you think we can just let anyone bully her?"

Su Ruan looked even more exhausted. "Yesterday, Xueqi was indeed in the wrong. You shouldn't have stood up for Xueqi."

"Mom! Xueqi is so well-behaved and sensible, how could she possibly be wrong?" Jiang Chenghao retorted.

"Fourth Brother, please don't make Mother angry. It was indeed my fault," Jiang Xueqi said softly, then raised her hand to touch her face.

When she woke up in the morning, her face was still swollen and painful.

She applied several layers of foundation just to barely cover it up.

"Xueqi, have you finished eating?" Jiang Chengxi put down his chopsticks and asked Jiang Xueqi.

"I've finished eating, big brother."

"Then let's go."

Jiang Chengxi drove the two people to Sacred Heart Academy.

Jiang Xueqi got off the bus and went to her classroom.

Jiang Li was taken to the principal's office by Jiang Chengxi.

Jiang Chengxi and the principal were discussing some admission requirements, while Jiang Li was looking around at the things in the principal's office.

Just as Jiang Chengxi and the principal were discussing tuition fees, Jiang Li suddenly pointed to a flyer and asked, "I saw on this flyer that if you take the entrance exam and get good grades, not only will your tuition be waived, but you'll also receive a monthly living allowance. Is that true?"

"Of course it's true." The principal looked at Jiang Li and asked her kindly, "Do you want to take the exam?"

Jiang Chengxi's idea was to let Jiang Li enroll directly, because he was afraid that Jiang Li's grades would be too poor and she would embarrass herself.

It's better to just throw money at it; at least that way you can save face.

For the principal, money is certainly a good thing, but compared to money, he would prefer to see a promising student.

Since Jiang Li brought it up herself, he naturally wouldn't refuse.

The principal immediately took out several sets of diagnostic test papers and handed them to Jiang Li.

Jiang Li took the paper, found a spot, and began to work on the questions seriously.

“These exam papers will take at least a morning to complete. If you’re busy, Mr. Jiang, you can go back first,” the principal said to Jiang Chengxi. “We’ll discuss the enrollment after the exam.”

If you don't do well on the exam, you can raise your stakes even further.

Jiang Chengxi looked at Jiang Li and said, "No need, I'll wait here."

Only by seeing it with his own eyes could he confirm Jiang Li's true skill level.

He had to silence those people immediately.

Jiang Li didn't care what Jiang Chengxi was thinking; she was working on the questions at lightning speed.

If it weren't for the fact that there was something here that needed her to handle, she really wouldn't have wanted to fill in the words on the test paper.

It's too easy, there's no challenge at all.

In just over ten minutes, a math test paper was finished.

"Jiang Li, was the test paper too difficult?" Seeing Jiang Li put the test paper aside, the principal tried his best to make his voice sound kind.

It's only been a dozen minutes, and you can't even finish the test. How bad must your score be?

"I'm done," Jiang Li said without looking up, continuing to mechanically fill out the English test paper.

Because I have no hearing, this is done much faster, taking only a few minutes.

"Jiang Li!" Jiang Chengxi couldn't stand it anymore. "You're the one who wanted to take the entrance exam. What are you doing now? Can't you take it seriously? Even if you're guessing, there should be a process involved, right?"

Jiang Li looked at Jiang Chengxi with a blank expression and asked speechlessly, "Is this question difficult? Why did you guess? It's not something you can just solve by glancing at it."

Sorry, it's not that she wanted to show off, it's just that Jiang Chengxi's attitude was too infuriating.

If we don't curb his arrogance, he won't even know why the flowers are blooming so red!

Ignoring Jiang Chengxi's angry expression, Jiang Li looked at the principal beside her and said, "Principal, to save some time, you can grade my completed test paper first."

While Jiang Li was speaking, the principal had already picked up Jiang Li's test paper and was looking at it.

The more I look at it, the more shocking it becomes.

I initially thought she wrote so quickly because she didn't know how, but I never expected...

It's simply because it's too easy; she knows it all!

The principal was extremely excited.

This child is truly a genius.

Jiang Li finished all the test papers in just one and a half hours.

The principal looked at her with the gaze of a wolf that had been starving for a long time and had suddenly spotted food.

Jiang Li forced a smile. "Principal, please don't look at me like that. I...I'm scared..."

"Jiang Li!" The principal stepped forward, grasped Jiang Li's hands, and said solemnly, "Our Sacred Heart Academy has decided to accept you as our student. As long as you are willing to stay in our school, feel free to make any requests you may have. As long as they are not excessive, we will definitely fulfill them!"

"The tuition fee..."

"Tuition is completely waived. If you consistently rank first in the entire school in every exam, we will provide you with an additional scholarship of 100,000 yuan," the principal said generously. "And if you achieve the top score in the college entrance examination, you will be rewarded with one million yuan!"

Seeing that Jiang Li didn't speak, the principal cautiously asked again, "Would you... like to stay?"
