Chapter 1: From now on, the Ye family will not have you
As cicadas chirped in the midsummer, Ye Jinmo packed her luggage and came down from the stuffy attic.
He bumped into the graceful lady head-on, and his words were filled with disgust.
"Since they are not my biological children, just sign the IOU and leave."
Before she could be surprised, she found an IOU for 500,000 yuan in her hand, with the three big words "Child support" written on it.
The noise at the stairs quickly attracted the attention of the people in the house, and Ye's father and his newly found daughter came out together.
Father Ye looked at the suitcase and the IOU in Ye Jinmo's hand, frowned at his wife, and said in a reproachful tone: "What are you doing? Jinmo is also our daughter who we have raised for 16 years!"
"Shu Ran is our biological daughter," Ye's mother said, pulling Ye Shu Ran's hand, her face full of disdain, "I was wondering why I couldn't like her, it turns out she's not ours. We've raised her for more than ten years, and five hundred thousand yuan in child support isn't too much!"
Father Ye couldn't bear it: "But Jinmo is only 16 years old, how can she have money..."
"I don't care. She has lived a good life for Shu Ran for so many years, she has to pay it back."
Hearing this, Ye Jinmo felt a dull pain in her heart.
For sixteen years, no matter how hard she tried, all she got in return was indifference and alienation from her parents. Even her name was given by a barefoot doctor she met by chance when she was five years old. Is this what you call a good life?
Her eyes suddenly turned red, and she tried hard not to let the tears fall, but her voice couldn't help but tremble.
"Okay, if I sign this IOU, it means I'm completely done with you."
Mother Ye turned her head away, not wanting to look at her expression:
"I have already notified your biological parents in the countryside to come pick you up. From now on, you will no longer be part of the Ye family."
Ye Jinmo raised her sleeves to wipe away her tears and solemnly signed her name.
She made a gesture to leave, and Ye's mother looked down and saw the box in her hand.
"What's in this box? Did they take away any of our money?"
Ye Jinmo's heart completely turned cold.
The box contained only a few of her clothes, which were bought with the commissions she earned from accompanying her master to see patients.
Before she could refute, Ye Shuran was shocked and touched her wrist hurriedly.
"Mom, I can't find the bracelet you gave me!"
"Think quickly, where did you put it in the end?" Ye's mother was also anxious.
She bought that diamond bracelet specially as a gift for her daughter and it cost her a full million!
"I remember... I went to the attic last night..." Ye Shuran's voice became smaller and smaller, with a crying tone.
The attic is where Ye Jinmo lives.
Hearing this, the three of them looked towards the suitcase.
Father Ye hesitated, still a little unconvinced: "Shu Ran, you are not mistaken, right?"
Ye Shuran nodded, then shook her head, with grievance in her eyes: "I wanted to talk to my sister last night, but she left after just a few words... No... It shouldn't be my sister... Maybe I lost it..."
"She must have stolen it!"
As Ye's mother spoke, she reached out to pull the box.
Ye Jinmo slid the lever, causing her to miss.
"You still dare to hide? You stole it, right?"
Ye Shuran stopped Ye's mother, took out a card from her pocket, and looked at Ye Jinmo with tears in her eyes.
"Sister, I know you're going to the countryside soon and life won't be easy for you, but the bracelet is the first gift my mother gave me and it's very important to me. This card contains the 500,000 yuan living allowance my father gave me. I'll give you the money, and you return the bracelet to me, okay?"
Ye Jinmo was so angry that she almost laughed.
Before leaving, you have to stage a frame-up drama?
When she was packing up her things last night, she did find the bracelet, but she just threw it into the trash can.
Seeing that she remained silent, Ye Shuran said aggrievedly: "Sister, do you think the money is too little?"
She rummaged through her pockets and pulled out another card: "Here is the fifty thousand I saved from working part-time over the years. Do you think it's enough?"
There was no fear on Ye Jinmo's face as she looked at her coldly.
"I didn't take your bracelet, and you are not allowed to touch my box."
Ye Shuran shrank back and hid behind Ye's mother in fear.
"You're a rebel!" Ye's mother's graceful face was ruined by a ferocious expression, "How did you talk to Shu Ran? You stole the bracelet and you're still being stubborn?"
She snatched the suitcase and snapped it open, and several old clothes fell out.
She lowered her head and searched, but didn't see the bracelet.
Her face flushed and she continued to look through the pages. Even if there was no bracelet, there would be something else.
She just couldn't believe it. After so many years in the Ye family, Ye Jinmo didn't have a single valuable thing!
Seeing that the same clothes were being tossed around, Father Ye couldn't stand it anymore and shouted, "That's enough! How long are you going to bully Jinmo?"
He couldn't say that he loved his daughter very much, but after all, he had raised her for sixteen years and he had some feelings for her.
Father Ye pushed Mother Ye away, bent down to pack the box, sighed, and took out a card from his pocket.
"Here is 10,000 yuan. Take it. Life in the countryside is not easy. Come back often."
"No need. I won't come back." Ye Jinmo didn't accept it. She was disheartened and walked out the door without looking back.
Walking out of the Ye family, the sun was shining brightly in the sky and she used her hands to block the sunlight.
She found a shady spot under a tree by the roadside, took out her cell phone, looked at the number of the relatives sent by Ye's father, and dialed it.
She thought to herself that since her family in the countryside was not well-off, she would return to the capital to work after recognizing her relatives. On the one hand, she could earn some living expenses to support her university expenses, and on the other hand, she could also help support her family. In this way, her new parents would like her a little more!
There were only three blind sounds before the roar of a sports car was heard not far away.
As soon as she looked up, she saw a huge convoy driving towards her.
Hundreds of sports cars were parked along the road, stretching as far as the eye could see.
Ye Jinmo looked back at the villa area. This community was not considered a super wealthy area. It was populated by people from small families who ran companies.
I don’t know which family made a fortune and put on such a grand display.
Before she could even take a step, a group of bodyguards in suits and leather shoes came down from the sports car, trotted around and surrounded her, in an orderly line with serious expressions.
A man got out of the leading Rolls-Royce.
The custom-made suit was well-tailored, outlining the man's tall figure perfectly, and there was no expression on his handsome face.
The bodyguards were well-trained and gave way respectfully.
She looked at the person who came, frowned slightly, and guessed the other person's identity.
The man walked up to her, bent slightly, and opened his thin lips. His deep and clear voice was particularly pleasant to the ear.
"Ye Jinmo?"
"It's me."
The man raised the corners of his lips, his brows smiling, raised his hand to touch her head, his voice excited.
"After sixteen years, I finally found you, my sister!"
