"What right do you have to judge others?"
He uttered the last word in an icy tone: "Get out."
Pei Zhaoan's pen slammed onto the table, startling Manager Xu, who had already caught a glimpse of the impatience in Pei Zhaoan's eyes.
"Mr. Pei, I'm sorry, I'll leave right away!"
Manager Xu was so scared he wet himself. The way President Pei looked at him was as if he were a dead man.
He had never seen the gentle and refined CEO Pei look like that before, and he was worried about his future in the business world.
Manager Xu slunk back to his office and directed his assistant to tidy up his desk.
His subordinate, product manager Zhuang Meng, happened to be bringing him a document to sign. Seeing Manager Xu packing his things, she looked surprised and asked, "Manager Xu, are you getting a new office? Or have you been promoted?"
"Promotion my ass, I got fired."
Manager Xu sighed and told Zhuang Meng what had happened in the office. He was full of complaints: "President Pei actually drove away a meritorious employee like me for a blind date. He must have lost his mind."
"I want to see how he plans to continue this business!"
After listening to Manager Xu's complaints, Zhuang Meng asked, "Manager, are you really going to resign?"
"Of course it's true. I'm afraid if I walk too slowly, Mr. Pei will have the security guards throw me out of the company."
Just then, Zhuang Meng's phone beeped with a notification.
She looked down to unlock her phone and glanced at the messages on it.
Zhuang Meng raised an eyebrow and looked up at Manager Xu: "Actually, I think President Pei is right to do it this way."
