Chapter 10 Why Hit Aunt Su

Seeing his daughter's short hair, Bo Yunyan became even more angry.

She didn't want to be a good lady, but chose to be a tomboy, bringing shame to him and the Bo family.

"What's wrong with my daughter? She's a good girl! She's kind, brave, smart, and honest. But it's the son you're raising..."

Hua Chang snorted coldly. Although she didn't say it explicitly, the meaning was self-evident.

Bo Zishen was deeply displeased when he heard her compare himself with his sister.

"As a girl, Zining should be obedient and sensible."

Mrs. Bo's voice came from not far away. As she approached, she noticed Zining's short hair and immediately became angry.

"What's wrong with you? Zining, go get your hair extensions now! A girl's greatest virtue is to be gentle and beautiful, and you're terrible at that."

She said the last sentence to Hua Shang.

She was very dissatisfied with her daughter-in-law from the country from the beginning to the end.

Her son is a child of destiny, and he should marry someone who is of equal social status, gentle and virtuous, and can help him in his career, not an orphan from the countryside.

Hua Chang could feel that Zi Ning became nervous instantly when Madam Bo appeared, her little hands clasped tightly and trembling slightly.

She frowned and looked down at her daughter.

My daughter's face was wrinkled and she looked unhappy.

Hua Chang suddenly felt uncomfortable when she remembered her daughter saying that her grandmother didn't like her.

"Mom, girls shouldn't be defined by what they're supposed to look like. Long hair is beautiful, but that doesn't mean short hair isn't okay. This is Zining's hair. She has the right to choose the hairstyle she likes, and no one else has the right to interfere."

Old Madam Bo didn't expect Hua Shang to dare to contradict her, and her eyes widened in shock.

In the past, Hua Chang liked Bo Yunyan and didn't want to embarrass him, so even if Madam Bo said something unpleasant, she would just tolerate it. But now...

She glanced at Bo Yunyan with a sarcastic look.

Madam Bo came to her senses and expressed her dissatisfaction: "Is this how you treat me, your mother-in-law? No wonder Zi Shen came back and told me that Zi Ning was being led astray by you. She got into a fight at school and even pinned Zi Shen down. I didn't believe it at first, but now it seems to be true?"

Zining pressed Zishen down?

Hua Chang had never heard Zi Ning mention this before. She looked at Bo Zi Ning and lowered her voice: "Zining, what's going on?"

"Zi Shen was the one who deliberately provoked me first, and said that I was a money-loser!" Zi Ning corrected aggrievedly.

Hua Chang immediately understood what was going on. She looked at Bo Zishen with a cold face, then shifted her gaze to Madam Bo and said in a deep voice, "I know Zining. She wouldn't act without reason. It must be Zishen who did something wrong first."

The one who teases first is the cheap one. It's time for Zishen to learn a lesson.

Seeing her attitude, Madam Bo was furious: "You..."

"That's not what I meant. Zishen is very sensible, but Zining...she wasn't like that before...even though she's stable now, who knows if she'll have a sudden attack?"

Su Mengli suddenly spoke, hinting at Zi Ning's previous illness.

Hua Shang originally didn't intend to argue with Su Mengli, but her daughter was her bottom line.

Su Mengli was so sarcastic to her daughter in front of her that she could no longer tolerate it.

She raised her hand and slapped her cleanly: "Does it really deserve your turn as an outsider to point fingers at my daughter?"

Su Mengli was hit so hard that her head tilted to the side. The burning pain made her cry: "Hua Shang...you...you dare to hit me?"

Hua Chang slapped her and glared at her coldly: "Yes, I'm hitting gossips like you who love to fabricate rumors!"

"You uneducated country girl! What right do you have to hit Aunt Su?"

The child's angry rebuke suddenly rang out.

In an instant, Bo Zishen rushed to Hua Shang like a mad beast: "You vicious and evil woman! Evil woman!"

He used all his strength to push Hua Shang to the ground.

The resentful look in his eyes when he looked at her, to the uninformed, was as if he was looking at the murderer of his mother.

But obviously, she is his biological mother.

Hua Chang was caught off guard and was pushed by her son, causing her to stagger slightly. She looked disheveled, but her eyes were filled with deep disappointment and heartbreak.

My whole heart felt as if it was buried in ten thousand years of ice, chilling my bones.

"Mom, are you okay?" Bo Zining saw Hua Shang almost fall and rushed over quickly, her little face full of heartache.

Hua Chang shook her head calmly.

She held her daughter's hand, feeling the warmth from her little hand, and the chill in her heart dissipated.

Fortunately, she still has a daughter.

Hua Chang gave her daughter a forced smile, her lips pale: "Zining, Mommy is fine."

When Bo Zining saw that her mother was indeed fine, she frowned and glared at Bo Zishen.

"What are you glaring at me for! You're a tomboy raised by a bad woman! You're a money-loser!" Bo Zishen was still not satisfied, so he picked up a stone from the ground and was about to throw it at her.

Hua Chang looked at the stone in her son's hand and her face darkened.

However, before she could move, Bo Zining knocked the stone out of his hand and then grabbed his wrist.

"You are the one with no manners! Mom is so good to you, but you help the bad guys bully her. Apologize to her!"

Bo Zining's eyes were fierce and she refused to give in even a little.

Bo Zining had learned fencing for a while, so he pinched Bo Zishen with a bit of force.

Bo Zishen screamed in pain and took a few deep breaths.

Before he could even start making a scene, Old Lady Bo beside him was filled with heartache: "Zishen! Grandma's darling grandson!"

She threw herself at Bo Zishen and held him in her arms like a treasure.

When he turned to look at Hua Shang and her daughter, his usual graceful and dignified demeanor was no longer there.

She looked at Hua Shang with a look of disbelief, raging. "Hua Shang, look at you. What has Zi Ning become after following you these days? She's so young, yet she's already touching her brother. She doesn't behave like a girl at all. From today on, let her stay here and let me teach her myself!"

Bo Zining pursed her lips because of what Old Lady Bo said, with stubbornness and a hint of uneasiness in her eyes.

She... doesn't want to stay with grandma.

But is she really that bad?

Hua Chang touched her daughter's head with a comforting look.

Bo Zining was stunned for a moment, then Hua Chang met Madam Bo's gaze and said, "No need. Zining likes to follow me. When she was with you before, she was not only introverted and taciturn, but also had psychological problems. I thought it was my negligence, but now I understand the reason from your experience."

The corners of her slightly cold lips curled up in an unbearable irony.

I finally understand why my daughter was so anxious before coming to the old house.

It was obvious that Bo Zishen was extremely rebellious, pushing her to the ground and even attacking his own sister with stones.

These old ladies seemed to be invisible from beginning to end.

It turns out that all bias has traces to follow.

Seeing that her mother was backing her up, Bo Zining opened her mouth and said everything that was in her heart: "Mom is right, I like her and not grandma. I don't want to stay with grandma, I want to stay with mom!"
