I took Yun Nian'an to a street full of food stalls.
There were all kinds of food, including fried cakes, fried biscuits, and small wontons, some of which even Yun Laosan had never seen before.
Yun Nian'an pointed to a stall selling dumplings and wontons and said, "Dad, let's eat some dumplings. I don't know if we can take them away."
Yun Lao San said: "You eat first, and when you are full, we will see if it is ok to take it away. If not, we will pack it for your grandfather and the others.
Just buy some fried pancakes or something like that from other shops, they are not picky either.”
Yun Nian'an nodded and sat down at the stall. The stall was owned by a couple.
The woman came forward and asked, "What would you like to eat, my guest?"
Yun Nian'an ordered a bowl of pork dumplings, and Yun Laosan ordered a serving of leek and egg dumplings. Soon two large servings of dumplings arrived.
Yun Nian'an held the bowl and ate happily.
Yun Laosan tasted it carefully and thought it tasted better than the one his mother cooked!
I had only eaten half of a bowl of dumplings when I heard a noisy sound.
A few sturdy men came to the front of the stall and sat at a table next to Yun Nian'an.
One of the big guys slammed the table and shouted, "Boss, give us a big bowl of wontons each, with more meat."
The woman took a look and saw that it was them again. She hesitated for a while before stepping forward.
"Uncle, you see, we are also a small business. You have been here for a few days. Even if our food tastes good, it is really unbearable. Uncle, why don't you look at other places?"
As the woman spoke, she couldn't stop glancing at her shoes. She didn't dare to make eye contact with the burly men.
The scarred-faced burly man who had just shouted that everyone wanted a bowl of wonton slammed the table and yelled, "What? You don't welcome us anymore?"
The woman shook her head quickly and said, "Sir, that's not what I meant. It's just that our small stall can't handle it. I have two sons at home who have problems with their legs and feet, and they need to rely on our small stall to earn some money to buy medicine for them.
I haven't made much money in the past few days. Why don't you go to another restaurant to eat?"
The scarred man pushed the woman to the ground and yelled at her, "Hurry up and do it for me! Stop talking nonsense. If you keep complaining to me, don't blame me for overthrowing your business."
After the woman got up from the ground, she felt as if she had twisted her ankle and limped forward two steps.
The boss had just gone out to get something, and when he came back he saw a few big men again. He also saw his wife limping, so he knew she had been bullied.
The man took a kitchen knife from the table behind him, came up to the burly man and yelled, "How dare you bully my wife? You shameless robbers, you come here every time and never pay!
Could it be that our things were blown away by the strong wind? If everyone is like you, can we still run our stall?"
The boss felt that he was really pushed into a corner today, as he had children to take care of and needed them to take medicine.
These shameless bastards come here every day and eat two or three meals a day.
The man with the scar never thought that the boss would be so tough today and dare to threaten them with a kitchen knife.
The scarred man picked up the big knife placed next to the table and knocked the kitchen knife in the boss's hand away. The kitchen knife just grazed Yun Nian'an's head and flew to the side.
Yun Lao San was so scared that he quickly checked if Yun Nian'an was hurt.
He wanted to pull Yun Nian'an away, but he failed to pull Yun Nian'an up after trying several times.
