Chapter 1 The Princess's Marriage

In the mountains and fields, a light rain was falling, and weeds grew up to waist height. Suddenly, a woman's resentful accusation rang out!

"I'm a princess sent for a political marriage, and I didn't elope with a scumbag out of love. How could I have encountered such a hellish start on my journey?"

Yue Jiang was reborn as a child and was raised by the Yue Kingdom as a beauty for a political marriage. However, she was kidnapped halfway to the marriage.

She was disheveled and exhausted from her escape, her head throbbing with pain, as if she were about to die at any moment.

Qingke sobbed, "Princess, we encountered deserters from Feng Kingdom on the road. Will we still be able to reach An Kingdom safely?"

Yue Jiang: That's right. Currently, the world is divided into seven kingdoms: Jing, An, Yu, Chen, Qi, Yue, and Feng. There are so many countries clustered together!

Feng Kingdom had just been destroyed by Jing Kingdom. She was a princess of Yue Kingdom and was on her way to An Kingdom for a marriage alliance. On the way, she encountered a fleeing army from Feng Kingdom, which scattered her marriage procession!

"Come quick, the beautiful princess of the Moon Kingdom is hiding here," before Yue Jiang could react, a lewd laugh came from the left front.

As they were talking, about twenty burly deserters from Feng Kingdom rode up on horseback, trampling the weeds in front of them, and arrived in front of Yue Jiang.

"This princess of the Moon Kingdom is truly a beauty. If we capture her and present her to Jing Yan, he might spare our lives."

"The Princess of Yue is so beautiful, brother. Jing and An have a long-standing feud. The Princess of Yue is the Crown Princess of An. If she falls into Jing Yan's hands, she might not have a good outcome. Let's spare her life. Why don't we brothers enjoy her first!"

"That makes sense!"

Yue Jiang: Don't you have any manners? You captured her to save her life, and now you want to squeeze every last drop of value out of her?

"How dare you touch me... I'll commit suicide, and see who you trade for my life!" Yue Jiang said quickly, picking up a stone from the ground with her bare hands and pressing it against her forehead.

"hiss!"

The moment the stone was applied, Yue Jiang shuddered. It really hurt; she had forgotten that she already had a wound on her forehead.

Upon seeing this, the twenty or so deserters from Feng State laughed loudly, the tallest of them eagerly unzipping his pants.

"You are the Crown Princess of Anguo, not the Crown Princess of Jingguo, so how important can you be?"

"If you dare to die, we can still exchange your dowry, which is worth more than a country, for Jing Yan's life."

"Have a good time with my brothers, and maybe you'll save your life!"

Yue Jiang: Transmigrating was definitely not for nothing. I was an orphan since I was a child, and I thought that was the beginning of my hellish journey.

Little did she expect that this day would come, when she bumped into a group of old-fashioned scoundrels on her way to a marriage alliance.

Seeing that the tall man had already taken off his pants and was about to pounce on her, Yue Jiang closed her eyes and threw the stone in her hand.

Suddenly, the ground shook violently, and a large number of troops rushed in from afar, accompanied by arrows flying towards Yue Jiang.

The tall leader was hit by a stone thrown by Yue Jiang, and then shot through the neck by an arrow. Blood gushed out from the arrow shaft at both ends, and he finally collapsed to the ground with a thud.

"Jing Yan is here! Jing Yan is coming to chase us!"

The other fleeing soldiers from Feng Kingdom were so frightened by the scene before them that they scattered in all directions, no longer having time to appreciate Yue Jiang's beauty.

Some were shot with arrows on the spot, while others were fleeing on horseback when they were shot and fell off their horses.

Some even tried to pull Yue Jiang over to block the flying arrows, but they didn't even touch a corner of Yue Jiang's sleeve before being hit by an arrow and falling down.

In just one night, all twenty-odd burly men died.

Yue Jiang was so frightened that she broke out in a cold sweat. Without thinking of anything else, she grabbed Qing Ke and ran away.

Unfortunately, the riders behind her were too fast, and Yue Jiang only ran two steps forward before she felt a tightness around her waist.

Looking back, I realized that the other party had used a whip to bind my waist.

Before Yue Jiang could break free, she was instantly pulled onto the horse's back by the rider. She lay sprawled on the horse, with the person who had captured her beside her.

Yue Jiang struggled desperately with her hands and feet, kicking wildly: "Let me go, let me go!"

"Don't move if you don't want to die," the man on horseback shouted, seemingly surprised by the woman's antics.

Yue Jiang: "Do I know who you are? You're only doing this because you want to live."

She continued to scratch and claw wildly, causing the horse to rear up and neigh. The man tried to hold Yuejiang down, but before he could reach out, Yuejiang grabbed his hand and bit him.

Yue Jiang clenched her teeth, her own teeth aching, unsure if the other person was in pain.

Yue Jiang looked up and saw that the man who had captured her was wearing a mask with fangs and a ghostly face. He looked terrifying. She was terrified and threatened him in a muffled voice.

"Let me go...and I'll...give up...otherwise...I'll...bite off your...finger!"

Yue Jiang couldn't see the man's expression, but his eyes, visible through the mask, were deep and bright. She heard a soft chuckle, and then the man grabbed her chin with his other hand.

The man said coldly, "Give in your own hands, or should I break your jaw?"

Yue Jiang: "..."

He's ruthless.

Obediently let go.

"You are...?" Just as Yue Jiang was about to try to get closer to the other party and negotiate, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck.

Uh, he actually knocked himself unconscious.

Seeing Yue Jiang fall, the man shouted to the group behind him.

"Back to camp!"
