Having undergone meticulous training, how could he be so flustered now? Yue Jiang was playing mind games with him again.
Even in this clumsy state, Jing Yan couldn't control the restlessness in her chest; perhaps this was a way she was seducing herself.
Jing Yan despised his own willpower.
Yue Jiang deliberately tied it in a knot. At this moment, it was something she had beckoned. It was much better than Jing Yan offering it willingly. She wanted to see what would happen if he couldn't take off his clothes.
"It's really knotted," she said anxiously, feeling along Jing Yan's belt. She touched a knot the size of a pearl, her lowered eyes filled with schadenfreude.
Through the knot and clothing, Yue Jiang could still feel Jing Yan's hot and firm waist and abdomen, with raised scars on his abdomen, which should be from previous knife wounds.
Her voice was heavy with exhaustion, tinged with a hint of self-reproach and tears.
"I'm sorry, Your Highness. I was looking at a picture book yesterday, but I'm not very bright and only remember the general idea. I didn't learn how to untie a belt in the dark."
"The moonlight tonight is strange, sometimes bright and sometimes dim. Please wait, I will go and fetch a candle. I will use the candle to help Your Highness untangle the knots in your clothes."
As soon as she finished speaking, Yue Jiang turned around, bent over, and crawled out from under Jing Yan.
The bed was large. As she crawled through Jing Yan's arms and was about to step down from the bed, suddenly Jing Yan grabbed and pressed down on Yue Jiang's right ankle with his large hand.
Jing Yan's palms were burning hot as he pressed them against Yue Jiang's white, jade-like ankles, squeezing out a lingering heat.
Under the moonlight, Yue Jiang looked back in confusion, carefully shifting her ankles with a serious expression.
"Your Highness, please release me quickly, I'll go get the candles."
"No need, I'll do it myself," Jing Yan didn't listen and let go. He let out a long breath, touched his belt with one hand, and gently pulled it. The belt broke completely, and his clothes suddenly came undone, revealing his strong chest.
With one hand grabbing Yue Jiang's ankle, he pulled her back under him before she could react.
"Your Highness," Yue Jiang exclaimed in alarm.
Before she could say anything more, Jing Yan silenced her with a kiss that fell like a storm.
Yue Jiang felt her clothes being wrinkled and tightened in Jing Yan's hands until they touched his skin, exchanging heat.
After a long while, Yue Jiang finally got a chance to catch her breath amidst Jing Yan's greedy and forceful kisses. She looked up at Jing Yan, her lips swollen and hot, and both of them breathed heavily and rapidly in the dark night.
Just now, Jing Yan seemed to want to devour her, constantly pulling herself into his arms. She never knew Jing Yan could be so passionate.
"Your Highness, why didn't you tell me beforehand?"
"Do I need to say anything about this beforehand?" Jing Yan's dark and cold eyes suddenly softened with tears. He raised his hand and used his fingertips to gently brush away the strands of Yue Jiang's hair that had fallen across her forehead.
The moonlight always arrives at the perfect time, and at this moment it allowed him to see the flush on Yue Jiang's face and the moist sheen on her lips.
"I thought Jiang'er understood better than me, but I've surprised her instead. Didn't you like me? Did you stop liking me just now?"
Jing Yan's dark eyes were deep and lustful, and his lips were moist, revealing traces of pleasure.
On ordinary days, Jingyan was serious and dignified, but suddenly he acted so recklessly in the night. Yuejiang was naturally caught off guard, but it was impossible for him to act like this on their wedding night.
What good young man could be so different during the day and night? Besides, Jing Yan started acting strangely as soon as he returned to the bridal chamber. Even if it was the alluring fragrance she carried, it was impossible for him to be so intoxicated by it at that time.
After reviewing the events leading up to it, Yue Jiang plans to ask Yue Lang what happened the next day.
After a moment of silence, she raised her arms and wrapped them around Jing Yan's neck, her eyes filled with sincere affection, occasionally tinged with worry and coquettishness.
"How could that be? Jiang'er still loves Your Highness, but did Your Highness also love Jiang'er and thus couldn't help himself? Your Highness took advantage of Jiang'er too much tonight, what will become of Jiang'er in the future!"
Jing Yan's eyes were deep and meaningful. If he didn't take the letter to heart, he would feel an unbearable tingling sensation in his heart as he flirted with the warm and soft woman in his arms. He really couldn't tell how much of Yue Jiang's feelings were genuine and how much were fake.
"Is this excessive in Jiang'er's eyes? Jiang'er has no means to make me not go too far."
Jingyan admitted that he liked Yuejiang a little, but not to the point of being blinded by lust.
He initially thought that he liked Yue Jiang, and Yue Jiang liked him, and that they could live a respectful life together.
If Jing Yan hadn't learned tonight that his wife was a rare beauty specially cultivated by the Yue Kingdom, he would still believe that Yue Jiang was truly devoted to him.
Whether Yue Jiang is a real princess or a fake princess is irrelevant, but if even this little bit of affection is fake, just to make him her devoted follower.
Wouldn't Jing Yan fall right into her trap? If he were to become truly infatuated with her one day, and Yue Jiang were still treating it like a game with no worldly desires, wouldn't she have him completely under her thumb?
If Yue Jiang wants to conquer him, why can't he just keep her hanging on? Even if he wants to make himself indispensable to her, he should at least use some truly effective methods.
Jing Yan didn't want to hear a few words of liking or loving anymore.
What Yue Jiang is saying right now is hardly even worth mentioning, let alone being false.
Yue Jiang feigned difficulty: "I really can't remember much of the picture album."
Jing Yan didn't care: "With me, a living, breathing person, in front of Jiang'er, Jiang'er doesn't need to follow the picture book exactly."
Yue Jiang cautiously probed, "Is it alright to offend Your Highness?"
Was he slowly revealing his true colors? Jing Yan smirked and replied, "Yes, Jiang'er thinks I went too far just now, I..."
"Hiss," before Jing Yan could finish speaking, he felt a sharp pain on the corner of his mouth. Yue Jiang quickly bit him and then left just as fast as she could, making it impossible for him to catch her.
