Chapter 89 Yu Wu & Cheng Yi….. Don’t cry.
After Yu's family successfully went public, Yu Wu finally focused on her family.
"Let's have a child."
On a weekend afternoon, the air conditioning was blowing in the room. Yu Wu, covered with a thin blanket, nestled lazily in Cheng Yi's arms, munching on cantaloupe. "I hope it's a daughter. Then I can buy her pretty doll dresses every day, and she can be my best friend when she grows up."
Cheng Yi lowered his thin eyelids, reached out his slender fingertips to stroke her hair, and said in a low, mellow voice, "I don't want it."
"Why?" Yu Wuteng sat up straight and began to explain to him in a long, rambling manner: "It would be so nice to have a girl, so sweet and soft, who would call us Mom and Dad. The three of us would be so happy no matter what."
Cheng Yi suddenly pressed down on her, pinning her beneath him and placing her hands above her head. His dark eyes were close to hers, and their gazes met.
"Shall we give it a try?"
The contact surface radiated a relentless, scorching heat, leaving Yu Wu unsure where to look. The thought of those profound and ferocious events sent a burning sensation down her cheeks, and her body trembled uncontrollably.
"How about we try again next time?" Yuwu tried to escape.
Cheng Yi could tell from her fearful yet expectant expression that she was playing hard to get, so he deliberately loosened his grip on her wrist and teased her, "Okay, since you're scared, let's start when you're ready." After he finished speaking, he made a move to stand up.
The ambiguous atmosphere vanished instantly, and Yu Wu's heart tightened. She quickly grabbed his clothes and gently and coquettishly scolded, "What are you doing, Xiao Yi?"
Cheng Yi raised an eyebrow slightly, speaking in a serious tone, "Didn't you say next time? I just remembered I still have some work to finish. If I finish it now, I'll have more free time tomorrow."
Yu Wu angrily picked up a cushion and threw it at him, "You did that on purpose!"
"What did I do on purpose?" Cheng Yi smiled slightly, sat down, and touched her cheek.
"Not next time, let's do it now." Yu Wu steeled her resolve and softened her tone. "Is that okay, honey?"
That final, tender "husband" completely shattered Cheng Yi's reason, tempting him to ravage her. He leaned down and kissed her.
His movements were gentle, their lips met, their love lingering, an indescribable surge of emotion. After a long while, he pulled away, his usually cold and sharp eyes now filled with tenderness and pity, his deep black pupils fixed on her, "Are you really sure?"
"...Um."
Cheng Yi gently pecked her eyes, his voice hoarse: "Being a mother is hard work."
“You are the child’s father, I’m not afraid.”
Cheng Yi let out a pleasant chuckle, supporting her as their bodies gently and slowly intertwined.
This was the first time the two of them had done this, and the feeling was particularly clear.
Cheng Yi was clearly very patient, fulfilling Yu Wu's wishes and letting her explore on her own. He said he was letting her take the lead, but he always teased and bullied her, leaving Yu Wu feeling conflicted and on the verge of tears before he finally gave in.
"Don't cry." He kissed away her tears, his voice sticky and hoarse as he soothed her.
Yu Wu's fingertips dug tightly into his strong arm, and she murmured a soft "hmm".

When Yu Wu turned twenty-eight, her identity underwent a major change.
—She's going to be a mother.
The pregnancy went smoothly, without any discomfort or morning sickness. In the first few months, Yuwu often forgot that she was pregnant.
Cheng Yi, on the other hand, is very cautious. He carefully examines the fabric when buying clothes, observes the ingredients in her skincare and makeup products, and is extra careful when choosing restaurants to eat out...
After getting through the first three months, Yu Wu couldn't wait to get in the car after work and share the news with Cheng Yi.
"Today is already three months and one day."
Cheng Yi, his handsome face expressionless, gave a nonchalant "oh" and glanced at her casually, "You want it that much?"
Yu Wu's ears turned red, she glared at him playfully, and casually picked up some snacks from the car to eat. Ever since she became pregnant, she'd always been craving snacks. Everyone took good care of her; from the office to home, she could easily find her favorite snacks anywhere.
Her body had become fuller after she became pregnant, and her snow-white skin was smooth and moist, even more rosy, making her look like she was made of water. That one glance just now was so alluring, it made Cheng Yi's Adam's apple bob, and he felt a surge of lust coursing through his body. He suppressed it tightly, his face remaining calm and composed.
No matter how hard I tried to restrain myself, I couldn't stop the image of her watery eyes, both painful and alluring, swamped with desire, from appearing in my mind.
As soon as Yu Wu entered the house, she wanted to run to the kitchen to see what her aunt had made for dinner, but before she could take a step, Cheng Yi pulled her into his arms.
"...Hey!" Yu Wu swallowed the rest of her exclamation.

The delivery went smoothly; it was a baby boy. Cheng Yi decided that the child would take Yu Wu's surname, Yu. The two of them discussed it together and finally named him Yu Zicheng.
Yu Zicheng's arrival initially threw Yu Wu into a flurry of activity.
With Cheng Yi's help and her parents' assistance, Yu Wu finally found a new rhythm in her life.
Yu Zicheng is very well-behaved. She only cries when she is hungry to express her needs. Most of the time, she doesn't cry or make a fuss. She just blinks her bright black eyes and observes the adults.
Cheng Yi was initially jealous of Yu Zicheng's arrival. He was jealous that this boy was taking up most of Yu Wu's time and energy.
But he wouldn't show it. A grown man fighting with his own son over a woman would be a laughing stock. So, Cheng Yi used the excuse of helping Yu Wu recover after childbirth to leave the child with his parents, while he stayed by Yu Wu's side every step of the way.
...
Since Yu Wu became pregnant, Cheng Yi has completely quit smoking.
Yu Wu teased him about quitting smoking, and Cheng Yi replied lazily, "I don't like it anymore."
Yu Wu knew it was because she disliked the smell of cigarettes. And because she was pregnant and had given birth, he completely avoided cigarettes when negotiating business deals outside.
Most obviously, every time Cheng Yi got angry with her, he would deliberately smoke in front of her to disgust her.
Cheng Yi looked up from his desk, raised his long, narrow eyes, and shook his head slightly with a sigh, "I ran into that person a few days ago. Maybe it's from work stress, his teeth are all yellowed."
Yu Wu looked innocent and bewildered: "Who is it?"
Cheng Yi smiled meaningfully and said, "Your Ke Ke."
Yu Wu's face darkened, she glared at him, turned around and quickly left the study.
You petty man, you'll never get over this, will you?
Cheng Yi behind him let out a low, cheerful laugh, and it took him quite a while to get into work mode.
...
The circle is so small.
One day, Yu Wu and her family were shopping at a mall buying clothes for Yu Zicheng when they unexpectedly ran into Ke Yanchen.
Ke Yanchen recently invested in an advertising company and took the opportunity to discuss his experience with Yu Wu.
Yuwu answered his questions very generously, her eyes occasionally glancing at his teeth.
It's all Cheng Yi's fault. All she can think about now is Cheng Yi saying that Ke Yanchen's teeth are yellow.
Looking at it this closely, it seems impossible to see...
...
Cheng Yi stood to one side, radiating coldness. He coldly watched the glaring smiles on Yu Wu and Ke Yanchen's faces as they spoke, his brows furrowing deeper and deeper. Lowering his eyelids, he looked down at the son in his arms and asked, "Can you cry now?"
Yu Zicheng blinked her big, bright eyes and shook her head in confusion.
"Your mom wouldn't buy you the Transformers the other day, but Dad will buy it for you." Before he could finish speaking, Cheng Yi pinched him slightly harder.
Yu Zicheng burst into tears and struggled to get off Cheng Yi.
Yu Wu quickly turned around and took a few steps forward, taking Yu Zicheng from Cheng Yi's arms. She patiently wiped away his tears and coaxed him gently, "Baby, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
Just as Yu Zicheng was about to complain, she caught a glimpse of Cheng Yi's threatening and warning gaze. She silently swallowed the grievances she couldn't voice, tears streaming down her face. She whimpered and clung to Yu Wu, snuggling into her arms and refusing to let go.
“It’s so hot, how can the child stand it?” Cheng Yi said coldly, then looked at Ke Yanchen defiantly, his tone indifferent and distant: “Young Master Ke is not a parent yet, he doesn’t understand the hardships of being a parent.”
Yu Wu comforted Yu Zicheng while holding her, apologized to Ke Yanchen, and hurriedly pulled Cheng Yi away.
Ke Yanchen stared silently at Yu Wu's departing figure.
The light and shadow danced, and although the sun was shining brightly, Ke Yanchen's heart felt as if it were being immersed in the cold of winter.
Blood rushed backward, and the flesh and blood in his chest, along with his heart, convulsed violently. Ke Yanchen clutched his heart tightly, desperately suppressing the burning desire within him.
He forced himself to suppress his boiling sense of loss.
He hadn't seen her in a long time, and he thought he had let go. It turned out that those desires were simply buried deeper within his heart.
It turns out, it was impossible to let go.
She had no reason to apologize to him.
He's the only one who owes her in this lifetime.
