He emphasized the word "awaken," his eyes gleaming with a faint fire of resentment at being tricked.
Chuanliu glanced at the man before patting his butt and standing up.
"Boring."
She leaned against the wall, touched her nose, and said.
Qian Chuan gestured to the front desk, and the front desk staff, upon receiving the order, withdrew.
Then he said, "You never had amnesia from the beginning, right?"
Chuanliu shrugged, which was taken as tacit agreement.
Qian Chuan asked, "Is it because of Susan and Jiulong?"
Chuanliu nodded.
Qian Chuan frowned. "So who is it?"
Does the truth matter?
The girl said, "The important thing is that they all think they are the truth."
Qian Chuan didn't press the matter further. He grabbed Chuan Liu's wrist and was about to lead her away from Lao Feng's room. "Let's go."
But he didn't pull the girl away.
Chuanliu pulled his hand away, pointed to the bewildered madman Feng standing to the side, and asked, "You've finished asking me, but I haven't asked you yet. Why was he in your house?"
Instead of answering directly, Qian Chuan asked, "Do you know him?"
Chuanliu stopped pretending at this point and nodded directly, saying, "It's not hard to get to know Feng, the madman from the Wuwang District's Everything Shop."
She paused, then continued, "Not only do I know him, but I also know that it was Sister Susan who took him away. So, why is he with you? What is your relationship with Old Feng?"
Qian Chuan's face darkened, revealing an unprecedented seriousness. He asked in a cold voice, "How did you know all this?"
Chuanliu remained unfazed, looking directly into the man's eyes. "Don't change the subject. Shouldn't questions be answered back and forth?"
Qian Chuan took a deep breath. "I won't answer these questions."
A cryptic smile played on Chuanliu's lips. "If I'm not mistaken, Old Feng hasn't taken his medicine for several days, has he?"
