At this moment, Chuanliu was quietly following behind Gun'er Ge's group.
The group moved through the bustling second-floor corridor. With the arrival of Brother Gun, these usually arrogant "Plum Blossom 2" members instantly became much more subdued, averting their eyes and not daring to linger on the group.
Finally, Brother Stick stopped in front of a tightly closed door.
The door was locked with a lock. Stick Brother skillfully took out a bunch of keys and unlocked the door.
As the door slowly opened, a heavy, oppressive atmosphere rushed in, as if time itself had slowed down.
Inside the room, Jiulong's underlings were lying sprawled on the floor, snoring loudly, as if they were fast asleep.
Stick Brother frowned, and lightly tapped the door frame with the spiked club in his hand, making a crisp sound that seemed particularly jarring in the quiet space.
"Hey, wake up, all of you!"
Although his voice was not loud, it was enough to wake up everyone who was asleep.
Jiulong's underlings were jolted awake from their dreams, sitting up one after another, their faces still showing signs of sleepiness, and a chorus of complaints rose and fell.
"This place is like a pigsty; I felt uncomfortable all over after sleeping here."
"Exactly, it's such a tiny place, yet it dares to call itself the main city. It's not as comfortable as our City of Hearts."
"This is truly miserable. That grandson Jiulong abandoned us. I'm not going to serve him anymore. Can't I find a place to eat?"
"that is!"
"..."
The crowd started talking, their voices growing louder and their emotions becoming increasingly agitated.
Brother Gun stood quietly to the side, listening to their complaints with a furrowed brow, but said nothing.
Finally, as the noise subsided, Brother Gun put on a gentle smile and said:
"Brothers, I know you've all had a tough journey. Boss Hou Yifan specifically asked me to convey his concern. He knows you've all been traveling a long way, so he specially arranged for a sumptuous meal to be prepared for you on the 9th floor."
Upon hearing this, everyone's faces immediately lit up with joy.
"The 9th floor? I'll have to have a good meal then, I'm starving!"
"This trip wasn't a complete waste, at least there's good food waiting for us."
"Oh dear, little Hou is so sensible! Hahahaha..."
Amidst the commotion, Brother Stick led everyone to the 9th floor.
While waiting for the elevator, Brother Gun said to his men, "You don't need to go up. I'll take them up. Boss Hou doesn't like too many people."
So, Stick Brother's men stopped.
Chuanliu then mingled into Jiulong's group and followed them in.
Why didn't Brother Gun bring anyone upstairs? Isn't he afraid that he can't stop the trouble caused by Jiulong's group by himself?
As Chuanliu pondered, the elevator reached the 9th floor again, and she followed the group to the restaurant.
Inside the elegantly decorated restaurant, a long dining table comes into view. Each seat is set with tempting steaks and fine red wine, and white napkins are neatly laid out on the table, creating an elegant yet warm atmosphere.
Chuanliu followed the group into the restaurant on the 9th floor, but her gaze remained fixed on Gun'er's face, gleaning some clues from the subtle changes in his expression.
She simply couldn't believe that Hou Yifan would be so kind as to organize a farewell dinner for Jiulong's men.
Judging from Gun'er's appearance, he's probably hiding something.
He let these people run wild and even prepared food for them.
They might survive to see this meal, but they probably won't live to eat it...
Inside the restaurant, Jiulong's men were completely unprepared for the upcoming feast. Their eyes gleamed as they rushed to their seats and began to wolf down their food.
Chuanliu pretended to need to urinate and hurriedly turned around, preparing to rush out of the restaurant.
Her actions immediately caught the attention of Brother Stick.
With lightning speed, Gun'er stepped in front of Chuanliu, blocking the path of the man in the blue T-shirt, and asked sternly:
What are you doing?
His voice carried a hint of alertness, but he couldn't show it in front of these people, so he could only ask this question.
Chuanliu feigned great pain and answered in a low voice:
"Toilet, toilet, I can't hold it in anymore! Where's the toilet?"
The man in blue had his head down, his hands tightly clutching his stomach, his body bent over, and his feet stamping nervously on the ground, as if he were truly enduring immense pain.
Seeing this, Stick Brother's vigilance lessened slightly.
He didn't think the man in front of him was lying, so he pointed to the nearest door outside the restaurant and said, "The restroom is over there. Hurry up and go, don't dawdle."
After saying that, he added, "Come back quickly, or there won't be any food left."
Chuanliu nodded, feigning gratitude, and then, under Gun'er's watchful gaze, strode towards the restroom.
Upon entering the restroom, the flow of water immediately returned to normal.
All she needed to do next was wait for Hou Yifan to reveal his true intentions.
But if he doesn't go back sooner or later, it will arouse Brother Gun's suspicion.
After thinking for a moment, Chuanliu picked up the hand soap from the sink, unscrewed the cap, and poured it onto the floor through the gap between the door and the floor.
Sure enough, a short while later, we heard the cleaning staff pushing their cleaning carts over.
He saw a puddle of unidentified liquid outside the toilet and immediately cursed, "Who the hell made this mess! If the boss sees this, I'm doomed!"
As the cleaner spoke, he picked up a mop and began cleaning.
After cleaning the outside, I pushed open the door and went inside to start cleaning the toilet.
When Gun'er heard the sound, he only glanced at it and didn't pay any attention, keeping most of his attention on the people eating.
A moment later, the cleaner came out.
The cleaner sighed as she put the washed mop back into the bucket. Then, head down, she pushed the cleaning cart away.
As time ticked by, Gun'er began to look impatiently toward the toilet.
He glanced at the crowd who were still eating heartily, quietly closed the door, and locked it from the outside.
He then headed towards the restroom.
Only one stall in the restroom was locked. He knocked on the door, but there was no response.
He frowned and knocked on the door again.
There was still no answer.
So he kicked the door open and saw the man in blue sitting on the toilet with his eyes closed.
"Damn it, you've come here to sleep!"
Stick Brother usually despised lazy underlings like this. With a strong effort, he lifted the man up.
Before the man could react, she pulled him back into the restaurant.
"Hey, wait a minute! Wasn't that you who just ambushed me?! What the hell are you doing?! Don't you dare touch me!"
The man in the blue T-shirt grumbled as he rubbed the back of his aching head.
