Chapter 196 You bastard!

Chuanliu nodded to them as if to confirm, "Alright! You two have worked hard, brothers. Don't let anyone in! I'll go down and help them right away!"

With that, she grabbed her weapon and pushed open the door to leave the base.

Uncle Hei's half-baked guard team was only good at dealing with the thugs of Red Peach City, but when they encountered Sun Qianfan's gang of thugs, even though the enemy outnumbered them, the guard team was still no match for them.

As the crowd surged out of the gate, the base's security forces were already at a disadvantage.

The girl pretended to join the fight.

"How dare you! Whose people are you! How dare you trespass on the base!"

Chuanliu roared, immediately attracting the attention of all the friendly forces present.

The men Susan sent naturally remained silent, as if they hadn't heard Chuanliu's warning, and continued their attack on the guards.

Faced with relentless attacks, Uncle Hei was already at his limit. Seeing "Little Ni" was like seeing a glimmer of hope for him, and he immediately shouted to the boy, "Little Ni! Go find Brother Long!"

"But……"

The boy seemed unwilling to abandon his teammates, gripping his weapon tightly in his hand.

Uncle Hei took a blow from the thug's club, gritting his teeth and urging, "Hurry up! We can't hold on much longer! Go get backup!"

The boy nodded and ran out of the base.

Chuanliu knew that the three brothers, Long Dongqiang, and his brother, would be collecting payments on their respective plots of land today. After running out of the base, she waited a while longer before heading towards Jiulong.

Unsurprisingly, Jiulong was chatting with his boss on the red-light district street with a few of his underlings.

Chuanliu splashed some water on himself and ran towards Jiulong, looking drenched in sweat.

"Brother Long! Brother Long!"

Jiulong saw "Little Ni" rushing over, panting, and saying, "No, something bad has happened! The base, something has happened at the base!"

Jiulong glanced at the nightclub's young owner, who immediately and tactfully withdrew.

"What happened?" Jiulong looked at the boy's expression and had a bad feeling.

"Little Ni" steadied his breathing and said urgently, "The base! The base is under attack! Someone has broken in!"

"What! What's going on?" Jiulong was shocked and immediately thought of the secret room in his office and the person inside.

We must not let anyone find out, otherwise...

His good days are over!

Chuanliu, seemingly oblivious to his fear, continued exaggerating, "Those guys are incredibly fierce, they seem to be professionals! There are probably around a hundred of them, and the guards are fighting to the death. Uncle Hei told me to hurry and call for backup, you should go back and take charge! I'll go get Brother Da Dong and Brother Qiang right now!"

After Chuanliu's prompting, Jiulong immediately realized something was wrong. He whispered, "More than a hundred people? Could they be Spade's men?"

He quickly stopped "Little Ni" from looking for the other two people and ordered, "It's too late! Go to Red Peach Manor immediately and find 'Red Peach K' Cao He, President Cao."

"Little Ni" nodded quickly and said worriedly, "Brother Long, be careful! Those people don't seem like good guys!"

At this moment, Jiulong had no time to think about the boy's words. He immediately led his henchmen and rushed towards the base.

He naturally didn't see the smile that Chuanliu showed after he left.

It seems Cao He is truly in cahoots with Jiulong. Cao He will ultimately get a share of the profits from what the hacker Jihu is doing.

Chuanliu didn't stay there for long before running towards the Red Peach Manor.

How could she let Cao He miss out on such a good show?

This was her first time visiting the upper floors of Red Peach Manor, but fortunately, she had already memorized the layout of the manor.

After she reported to the gatekeeper, Cao He arrived with his men shortly afterward.

The man's face darkened, as if he had thought of something.

If it weren't for that incident, Jiulong probably wouldn't have bothered him.

Chuanliu followed silently behind Cao He, her head bowed and her voice low as she reported, "President Cao, the base was suddenly attacked. The enemy must have been prepared. Their attack was too fierce. Brother Long told me to come and get your support."

"Hmm." Cao He snorted, barely glancing at Chuan Liu.

When they left the Red Peach Manor, Cao He's car was already waiting there.

With a loud "bang," Cao He slammed the car door shut and instructed the driver to head towards Jiulong's base.

His remaining underlings and Chuanliu, along with a large group, ran towards the base.

Soon, the infantrymen from Chuanliu and Caohe arrived at Jiulong's base.

Cao He's special vehicle stood alone outside the base, while the base's courtyard was a scene of utter devastation. Broken bricks, scattered weapons, and bloodstains were intertwined, and members of the guard team lay on the ground, their cries of pain echoing throughout. Several less wounded members, barely able to support themselves, were helping their seriously injured comrades to their feet, limping as they cleaned up the battlefield.

Jiulong and Caohe stood together.

Jiulong lowered his head, almost touching the ground, his voice low and trembling, as if reporting something to Cao He. His eyes were fixed on the floor beneath his feet, not daring to look up and meet Cao He's piercing gaze.

Suddenly, a crisp "snap" echoed in the quiet air.

Cao He raised his hand without hesitation and slapped Jiu Long hard across the face, not caring whether it would make Jiu Long lose face in front of his subordinates.

The slap made Jiulong stagger, almost falling to the ground. His cheek instantly swelled up, and a trickle of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.

Chuanliu noticed that Uncle Hei was leading several bruised and battered team members, carrying two unconscious guards. These two guards were the same two who had been watching the entrance to Jiulong's office. They were deathly pale and lifeless, clearly having lost consciousness.

Jiulong was obedient and dared not resist in the slightest.

"You bastard!"

Cao He could no longer suppress his anger, and his voice rose a few decibels.

But then he cautiously looked around and lowered his voice again.

Chuanliu walked towards the two of them and heard Cao He say, "Three days... I need to see him alive or dead. If I can't find him... you know what the consequences will be."

When Cao He saw Chuan Liu approaching, he turned grim and stopped speaking.

He glanced casually at the boy who was jogging over and asked Jiulong, "Your man?"

Jiulong nodded, also needing an excuse to change the subject, "This is my newly recruited little brother, Xiao Ni."

"Um."

Cao He only asked one question and did not elaborate further.

He turned and directed his underlings to leave. Before getting into the car, he gave Jiulong a deep look and said, "You'd better watch yourself."

"Yes... Mr. Cao, take care."

Jiulong's heart sank. He bowed to Cao He and watched Cao He's group leave.
