The dice cup is opened.
What came into view was a sea of black dots.
Xiaoyao: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6.
Xiaoyao truly deserves the title of "God-Handed Xiaoyao" in the City of Hearts. With his current skill level, he can almost guarantee rolling all 6s every time.
Cao He smiled with satisfaction, but when his gaze fell on the flowing dice cup, his smile froze.
Flowing: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6.
Cao He stared at the girl in front of him in shock, never expecting that Chuan Liu would also roll a full 6.
He stood up from his seat and walked towards the game table to better observe the duel between the two players.
However, apart from Cao He, everyone present had either witnessed or heard of Chuanliu's techniques, and seeing this result, they felt somewhat relieved.
To avoid ruining his image, Cao He cleared his throat and said to Chuanliu with a surprised look, "I didn't expect Miss Chuanliu to be such a master. I was blind."
Despite saying that, his heart sank. He had thought that having Xiaoyao compete in his place would guarantee success, but he hadn't expected that Chuanliu could roll six 6s.
He circled his hand around the rim of the glass and subconsciously took a sip of water.
Chuanliu smiled faintly, "Just lucky, just lucky."
Susan then announced the results: "Haruka's score is 36, and Kawakami's score is 36. The first game is a tie."
She looked at the two of them; both had their eyes downcast, as if they were deep in thought.
Susan then coughed lightly, and their attention turned to her.
"Now let's begin the second round. Please confirm the number of dice."
"Please shake the cup."
"Please place your cup."
"Bang." "Bang."
The movements were fluid and seamless, without any pauses.
"Please open the pot."
All eyes turned to the game table.
Xiaoyao took a deep breath and nervously lifted the lid of the cup.
Xiaoyao: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6.
Six black 6s came into view.
Sure enough, he rolled six 6s again, a result that was no surprise.
The boy breathed a deep sigh of relief after seeing his result. His slightly trembling hand gently rubbed the hem of his clothes, trying to wipe away the beads of sweat that had seeped from his palms due to nervousness.
Then, as if remembering something, he looked towards Chuanliu's side with a worried expression. It was almost an instinctive reaction of kindness; he didn't want Chuanliu to lose.
If the match had remained tied, perhaps they would have given up, and perhaps Cao He would have stopped making things difficult for his mother?
The girl carefully opened the dice cup, just as Xiaoyao had expected.
Flowing: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6.
The boy couldn't help but let out another long sigh of relief.
Cao He's eyelids twitched when he saw the result. Chuanliu was indeed not simple; she could actually fight to a draw with Shenshou Yao.
But is this match going to stay tied forever?
He couldn't help but frown.
Susan continued to host the event, saying, "Since the first two rounds are tied, our betting continues. Whoever wins two rounds first will be the winner."
The third game begins.
Shake the bowl.
The cup falls.
Open the pot.
Xiao Yao's tense heart was almost numb from the mechanical shaking. He opened the dice cup, and there was no suspense.
Xiaoyao: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6.
When it was Chuanliu's turn, she pursed her lips, seemingly feeling a bit of pressure. Her gaze was intense, fixed on the dice cup in her hand, as if trying to see through the wooden lid.
She took two deep breaths, as if trying to calm her inner turmoil, and then carefully lifted the dice cup.
As the lid was slowly removed, the result of the dice roll was revealed to everyone.
A look of astonishment flashed across Chuanliu's eyes, followed by disbelief.
On the desktop, you can see: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 3.
The unexpected result was unacceptable to the girl. She jumped to her feet, shaking her head repeatedly in shock, "Impossible! How could this be..."
Susan, Wang Shuo, and Xiaoyao were also taken aback by this sudden turn of events.
They originally thought that Chuanliu would at least perform steadily, if not guaranteed victory, but they never expected her to make a mistake at this crucial moment.
"How...how could this be..."
Xiao Yao muttered to herself in confusion, looking at Wang Shuo for an answer, but only received the same confused response.
In contrast, Cao He was in a much better mood.
He smiled and comforted her, "It was just a mistake, Miss Chuanliu, don't worry, you still have two more chances, right?"
The girl frowned, her lips pressed into a thin line, seemingly still immersed in disbelief.
Cao He chuckled inwardly upon seeing this.
They're still young; they don't even have the resilience to handle pressure.
Susan looked at Kawaryu with some concern, tugged at her sleeve, and said, "Haruka has 36 points, Kawaryu has 33 points, Haruka wins. Let's move on to the fourth round."
"etc!"
The girl suddenly raised her hand, stopping Susan from speaking.
She reopened the dice cup, picked out the die with the 3 facing up, and exclaimed, "This die is definitely suspicious! I need to check all the dice!"
Cao He couldn't help but laugh, a hint of disdain in his voice, "Miss Chuanliu, you can't blame our casino for one mistake. Our dice all meet the standards. Besides, didn't you just roll a 6 with these dice?"
