Lin Xi twisted her arm. "It's none of your business."
"Xi Xi, please don't be angry, okay?" Song Xu hugged Lin Xi tightly. "Do I have to rip my heart out and show it to you before you'll believe me?"

After hearing Song Xu's explanation, Lin Xi's anger didn't subside at all; instead, she became even angrier. "You... are you a lustful lecher who's driven by lust? All you think about all day is that kind of thing."
"Let go of me, I don't want to talk to you." Lin Xi twisted her body, trying to shake Song Xu off.
Song Xu seemed to be glued to her, and she couldn't shake him off no matter what she did.
“Xi Xi,” Song Xu kissed Lin Xi’s cheek, “I haven’t finished speaking yet, you have to give me time to explain.”
Song Xu half-pushed, half-carried Lin Xi back to the room she had stayed in the previous night and closed the door.

After Song Xu finished speaking, he lowered his head and kissed Lin Xi. He hadn't been able to kiss her all day and really missed her.

"Xixi, you still haven't told me how you hurt your arm." Song Xu leaned back on the sofa, his eyes darkening.
"What else could it be? It happened when she was fighting with Lu Yunqi," Lin Xi snorted. "You don't think that only one person gets hurt in a fight, even though she was badly injured."
When Lu Yunqi was mentioned, Lin Xi's feelings were quite complicated. Just like her grandmother said, if Lu Yunqi hadn't been so ruthless towards her grandmother, her grandmother might have needed a long time to regain her senses.
Now Lu Yunqi is unconscious. Isn't this karma coming back to haunt her?
"Song Xu, is Brother Yunzhou really helping us?" Lin Xi asked, voicing her doubts. "And how did he explain it to his father?"
Song Xu touched his chin. "Brother Yunzhou said that Lu Yunqi fell and hit her head in the bathroom. There are no surveillance cameras in the bathroom, so no one can say for sure."
"Also, we were in the parking lot with Lu Yunqi at the time, and Lu Yunqi was clutching her stomach and pretending to be unwell, which proves that she went to the hospital restroom alone, thus eliminating suspicion against us," Song Xu explained.
He admired Lu Yunzhou for being able to make sense of things under those circumstances. If he hadn't witnessed the whole incident firsthand, he would have believed Lu Yunzhou's story.
"As for whether Brother Yunzhou is genuinely helping us," Song Xu pondered for a moment, "at least for now it's in our best interest. Don't overthink it; there's always a solution."
Lin Xi nodded. She felt that she was quite strong inside, and she wasn't nervous at all when facing Lu Yunqi's father last night.
Lin Xi and Song Xu walked out of the room, but Bai Tiantian and Song Chen were no longer in the living room.
Song Xu pulled Lin Xi to the restaurant. "Xi Xi, have some breakfast first, and wait for your brother and the other two."
"Sweetie actually opened the door for the two of you." Lin Xi was surprised that Bai Tiantian let Song Xu and Song Chen in so early in the morning. Where did her backbone from last night go?
“It wasn’t Bai Tiantian who opened the door for us,” Song Xu said, sitting next to Lin Xi and watching her eat breakfast. “It was the two of us who called a locksmith to open the door.”
Lin Xi looked at Song Xu in shock, "You guys have gone too far. Tian Tian is really being lenient by not calling the police to arrest you."
"My brother is being too reckless. He's a lawyer, doesn't he know this is illegal?"
“Brother even wanted to climb down from the window on the seventeenth floor,” Song Xu shook his head slightly, “but I stopped him, so he came up with this idea.”

“As soon as my brother entered the house, he kissed Bai Tiantian,” Song Xu sighed heavily. “You have no idea how much I missed you at that time.”
At this moment, Bai Tiantian and Song Chen had already kissed on the bed.
