Chapter 269 Does this voice sound familiar?
In the ward, the blush on Jiang Nian's face never faded.
"Lu Yunzhou, aren't you going to the company?" Jiang Nian wanted to calm herself down.
Lu Yunzhou was wiping Jiang Nian's chest with a wet towel. When he heard Jiang Nian's question, he took the wet towel out and said, "It's the weekend today, I'm off."
Okay, Jiang Nian forgot about it; she was too confused after being attacked yesterday.
Lu Yunzhou went to the bathroom to wash the towel, and Jiang Nian lay on her side on the bed with her head buried in the quilt.
Lu Yunzhou wiped her body twice, once last night and once this morning, so she was completely naked.
Lu Yunzhou returned, holding a wet towel in one hand and using the other to pull down Jiang Nian's pants. "Let me help you wipe yourself down."
“No need,” Jiang Nian pressed Lu Yunzhou’s hand. “Why don’t you help me hire a female caregiver?”

Lu Yunzhou wouldn't let go and warned Jiang Nian, "Don't move around, or your wound will reopen."
"Then let go of my foot!" Jiang Nian wanted to cry and laugh at the same time; it was too torturous.
As the two were locked in a stalemate, the door to the ward was pushed open, and Lin Xi poked her head in: "Brother, Niannian."
Lin Xi heard Jiang Nian's voice, which sounded like crying and laughing, from outside the ward. She didn't know what the two were doing. She knocked on the door, but there was no response. She could only push the door open halfway and call out.
Jiang Ran and Zhou Jingming were following behind her.
Upon hearing Lin Xi's voice, Jiang Nian covered her mouth, and Lu Yunzhou also let go. He took a wet towel, walked to the door, pushed it open, and glanced inside.

Lin Xi chuckled to herself, "Just as handsome."
"Brother, is it convenient for us to go in?" Lin Xi asked Lu Yunzhou with a smile.
Lu Yunzhou handed the wet towel in his hand to Lin Xi, "You've come at the right time. She won't let me wipe my lower body, so go and wipe her for her."
Lin Xi didn't refuse. She winked at Lu Yunzhou, "Brother, you two are progressing pretty fast."
Lu Yunzhou hummed in agreement, "I'll try my best to let Mom hold her grandson next year."
To avoid his mother always complaining that he is slower than Zhou Jingming, he can speed up.
Lin Xi raised her eyebrows, shocked by her brother's words. She wanted to ask: Does Jiang Nian know about this?
Lin Xi pulled Jiang Ran into the ward, while Lu Yunzhou stayed outside with Zhou Jingming.

“I heard about what happened yesterday,” Jiang Ran said respectfully to Jiang Nian. “Are you a martial arts practitioner?”
Jiang Nian nodded, "This level of skill is still presentable."
"Once you're better, we can have a friendly spar," Jiang Ran said with a smile.
“Ranran, it’s not that I look down on you,” Lin Xi patted Jiang Ran’s shoulder, “Niannian can fight my brother to a draw.”

Jiang Ran moved swiftly, pulling Jiang Nian's pants down to the bottom, and Lin Xi began wiping her legs.
After wiping, there was still the most private area. Jiang Nian took the initiative to say, "No need for that. This is a smart toilet; you can wash there."
Lin Xi and Jiang Ran helped Jiang Nian put on her pants. Just then, Jiang Nian's phone rang.
Jiang Nian picked up her phone and saw that the caller was her sister. She made a "shh" gesture to Lin Xi and Jiang Ran, and then answered the phone, "Sister, did you miss me?"
"Niannian, where are you? Why didn't you come home for the weekend?" Jiang Yan was disappointed not to see her beloved younger sister when she returned home for the weekend.

Jiang Yan had been working part-time throughout college and knew how tough it was. She didn't want her younger sister to suffer the same way. "You don't need to do that part-time job anymore. I'll cover your tuition and living expenses. You just need to focus on your studies."
“Sister, this part-time job is very lucrative,” Jiang Nian didn’t want to lose this job or her domineering boyfriend. “You can’t keep giving me money. It’s not good if my brother-in-law finds out.”
“Your sister earns enough money for you,” Jiang Yan continued to ask. “Where are you? Send me your location and I’ll have your brother-in-law come pick you up.”
"No!" Jiang Nian cried out anxiously, not wanting her family to know she was hospitalized. "Sister, I'm lying to you. I'm actually with my boyfriend. We're going on a date this weekend."
Jiang Yan paused for two seconds, then asked, "What boyfriend? Where did you meet him? What does he do? What's his family background like? Do you know anything about him? What have you been doing together?"
Hearing her sister's barrage of questions, Jiang Nian slapped her mouth twice. "You stubborn mouth! You've been talking nonsense, and now you're making things more and more complicated."
The ward was unusually quiet. Lin Xi and Jiang Ran were both listening intently to Jiang Nian's phone call, and they could hear some of the sounds coming from the phone.
The more they listened, the more familiar the voice seemed. Lin Xi quietly tugged at Jiang Ran's clothes and whispered, "Does this voice sound familiar to you?"
