Chapter 48 I've been drugged, take me to the hospital.
It was Li Sheng's voice. Lin Xi's body trembled uncontrollably, both from anger and fear.
Li Sheng hung up the phone after saying those harsh words.
What should I do? Lin Xi paced anxiously back and forth in the room.

There were a few more messages. He scrolled through them and saw the one sent by Lin Xi.
Li Sheng? Song Xu slapped his forehead; he had forgotten about this person.
Song Xu wanted to call Lin Xi, and found Lin Xi in his contacts, but his hand hesitated to press the call button.
Forget it, he'd better go and check it out. That silly girl Lin Xi must have run home.
He put on his clothes, grabbed his car keys, and went out.

Lin Xi had the taxi stop at the intersection, paid the fare, and got out of the car.
She stood at the intersection looking around. She had walked this road for more than ten years, and now she had to be on tenterhooks to go home.

Li Sheng walked from the side to Lin Xi. Behind him stood two other men, shirtless, with messy tattoos on their bodies.
They were both shirtless, but compared to Song Xu, they were far inferior. Lin Xi didn't want to look at them at all; she felt disgusted.
"See? I didn't lie to you, did I?" Li Sheng said to the two shirtless men. "She's a good catch, isn't she?"
The two men grinned wickedly. "I never thought that something like this could grow in your slums."
“Only this one, and he’s a college student,” Li Sheng sneered. “He’s incredibly arrogant.”
“Whether she’s a college student or a graduate student, arrogant or tough, as long as she gets a little bit of this potion, she’ll turn into a slut in bed, completely at everyone’s mercy.” A man laughed loudly.
Another man stroked his chin, "When we're tired of playing with them, we can sell them and make a profit."
"Li Sheng!" Lin Xi was already panicking. She pretended to be calm and secretly dialed the police, shouting loudly, "What you're doing is illegal. Let me leave now, and we'll pretend this never happened."
The men opposite burst into laughter. "Is this girl really a college student? She's more innocent than an elementary school student. What law did she break? We didn't do anything."

One of the men reacted and grabbed Lin Xi's arm. Lin Xi turned around and pressed the spray in her hand into the man's eyes.
"Ah, damn it!" The man released Lin Xi, covered his eyes, and rolled around on the ground, howling in pain.
"It works so well!" Lin Xi looked at the pepper spray in her hand. She made it herself, learning how to make it online. It contained various irritants such as capsicum, mustard, medicated oil, and alcohol.
This was her first time using it, and seeing how well it worked, she sprayed it on Li Sheng and another man as well, getting some on both of them. The places that were sprayed felt burning and painful.
Lin Xi took the opportunity to run away, looking back as she ran, afraid that they would catch up with her.
Li Sheng was the least sprayed, but he didn't want to let Lin Xi off the hook, so he endured the pain and chased after her.
Lin Xi's legs were weak and she couldn't run fast at all. She staggered as she ran, and she was about to reach the intersection when there were more people on the main road, so she could call for help.
She glanced back again and saw that Li Sheng was only a few meters away from her. Lin Xi panicked and didn't see the road clearly. She stepped on a stone, slipped, and fell forward.

Instead of the pain she expected, Lin Xi was held in someone's arms. It was a familiar scent. She opened her eyes and saw Song Xu's cold face.
"President Song~" Lin Xi cried. She hadn't cried even though she was so scared just now, but when she saw Song Xu, she suddenly couldn't help but cry.
"You're so stupid," Song Xu picked her up in his arms, then glared at Li Sheng who had caught up, leaving only one sentence: "You're going to die!"
Song Xu ignored the terrified Li Sheng and carried Lin Xi toward his sports car.
