Zhou Jingming didn't even glance at them. He was better off not leaving. He walked to Jiang Yan's side, took her hand, and asked, "Wife, are you alright?"

"Thank you," Zhou Jingming nodded. "We must have a drink; we can't spoil the fun."
Jiang Nian sat down on the other side of Jiang Yan, poured everyone a full glass of wine, raised her glass, and said, "Now that everyone's here, one of us has to go."
"Cheers, sister!" Jiang Nian and Jiang Yan clinked glasses and finished their drinks.
Jiang Yan felt a little dizzy, but she insisted on finishing the drink in her glass. Overall, she was happy today, if not for the Li family ruining things.
After finishing her drink, Jiang Yan picked up the pig's trotter from her bowl and continued to gnaw on it; it smelled delicious.
Zhou Jingming was stunned; he had never seen Jiang Yan eat so heartily before.

“Climbing to the seventh floor is so tiring,” Jiang Yan rested her head on Jiang Nian’s shoulder. “Niannian, can we ask Dad to move to a different house? I’ll pay for it.”
“Okay, Dad and I have discussed it. We’re planning to rent a place nearby, on the ground floor. That way, it’ll be convenient for Dad to come and go, and it’ll save you from getting tired,” Jiang Nian said.
"Dad agreed?" Jiang Yan looked up at Jiang Hongbo in surprise.
Jiang Hongbo nodded, "Renting a house will do. We can rent out this house as well, and it won't cost much. Niannian has been earning a lot lately, so she can afford a year's rent."
“Niannian is still a student, it’s not her place to support the family,” Jiang Yan objected. “I have to pay for this.”
