Chapter 18 How could Brother Xu like a girl like Lin Xi?
Lin Xi was stumped by the question. She was going to live at Song Xu's house, and it wasn't appropriate for her to earn extra money at her employer's house.
But she didn't want to give up such a good way to make money.
"Mr. Song, is it okay if I only sell one or two items at a time?" Lin Xi softened her voice. "I can help you sell them, for free."
"Free?" Song Xu, carrying Lin Xi, had already reached the entrance of the auto show when he stopped and asked.
He asked the question in a loud voice, so loud that Shen Yan and Xiao Heng behind him could hear it clearly.

"Thank you, Mr. Shen." Lin Xi felt much more comfortable in the wheelchair than in Song Xu's arms.
"Don't call me Mr. Shen anymore. We're the same age. Just call me by my name. My name is Shen Yan, but they all call me Yanzi," Shen Yan introduced himself.
"My name is Xiao Heng, and I'm also eighteen years old." Xiao Heng also came over to introduce himself.
Lin Xi smiled at them, "Chen Yan, Xiao Heng, I'll remember you."

"Is Brother Xu interested in Lin Xi?" Xiao Heng asked.
Shen Yan frowned. "It seems so, but why would Brother Xu like a girl like Lin Xi?"
Xiao Heng scoffed, "Why not? Don't you like her too?"
Shen Yan glanced at him, "You're saying this as if you don't like it."
Xiao Heng cleared his throat and said in a low voice, "A beautiful woman is sought after by a gentleman. Who doesn't like a beautiful woman? I only realized today that Lin Xi's figure is also top-notch."
Shen Yan noticed this as well, which made him feel unbalanced. He was the one who found Lin Xi first and was the one who made the first contact with her, so how could he have been poached by someone else without even realizing it?
“Xu-ge probably isn’t serious,” Shen Yan scratched his head. “His family wouldn’t accept a girl like Lin Xi.”
"Will your family accept it?" Xiao Heng glanced at him sarcastically.
With his hands in his pockets, Shen Yan stylishly tossed his hair and said, "There are still many years before my family starts pressuring me to get married. I've only just turned eighteen."
Xiao Heng couldn't stand his smugness and poured cold water on him, saying, "Brother Xu is only a year older than us, he has plenty of time."

"I'll come back to see you when I'm resting, so don't miss me too much."
Since Song Xu and the others were there, Lin Xi didn't say much. After asking the two caregivers to take good care of her grandmother, she took her backpack and left.

Song Xu frowned. "The doctor told you to rest."

She bent down to get a pair of disposable slippers, and Song Xu took out a pair of new pink slippers and placed them at Lin Xi's feet.
