Chapter 154 Have you ever seen Lu Yunzhou's mother?
After parting ways with Lu Yunzhou, Lin Xi and the other three drove to the restaurant that Jiang Ran had booked.
Jiang Ran had booked a private room. When the waiter led them to the door of the private room, Lin Xi stopped, glanced at Song Xu and Song Chen, and then whispered to Bai Tiantian, "I told Ranran that it was just the two of us who came, I didn't say that I would bring the other two."

After they were seated, the dishes were served. There was no need for Bai Tiantian to make a specific order; none of the dishes were cheap.
"Jiang Ran, why did you bring Jingming here?" Bai Tiantian asked softly.
Jiang Ran snorted coldly, "You all brought your boyfriends, so it would be so awkward for me to be alone. Luckily, my brother was free, so I dragged him over to keep me company as a third wheel."
Once all the dishes were served, Jiang Ran stood up, picked up her wine glass, and looked at Lin Xi. "Xi Xi, this meal today is mainly to apologize to you. I didn't keep my promise to you, and I'm really ashamed to face you."
"Ranran, I've already said this has nothing to do with you," Lin Xi pulled Jiang Ran back to her seat. "If you keep saying this, I won't be able to eat."
Bai Tiantian had no idea that Lin Xi had almost been drugged and raped by Xiao Yang. She looked around and asked, "What are you two talking about? Why are you keeping this from me?"
Jiang Ran glanced at her sideways, "Because I'm closer to Xixi, you're an outsider."
“You’re the outsider, aren’t you?” Bai Tiantian glared at her. “I’m Xixi’s sister-in-law.”
“What sister-in-law?” Jiang Ran pouted, glancing at Song Xu and Song Chen opposite her. “You and Xixi can only be sisters-in-law at most.”
Bai Tiantian chuckled, "You don't know this, do you? Song Chen is Xixi's older brother who has been missing for many years. Now that they have reunited, I will be Xixi's sister-in-law from now on."
Jiang Ran was stunned after hearing this. She looked at Song Chen and then at Lin Xi. "Really? They don't look alike at all. They don't even look as much like my brother."
Bai Tiantian looked at Zhou Jingming, then turned back to Lin Xi, "You know what, you really have to admit, Brother Jingming and Xixi's eyes really do look alike."
The three men opposite were stunned when they heard Jiang Ran and Bai Tiantian's words. Song Chen and Song Xu both looked at Zhou Jingming, whose eyes really did resemble Lin Xi's.

"Who is Xiao Yang?" Song Chen suddenly asked. "What did he do to you, Xixi?"

Song Chen looked at Song Xu, "Xiao Xu, what do you say?"
“Xiao Yang is Xi Xi’s high school classmate…” Song Xu briefly explained the situation, “Xiao Yang rented a basement, and the walls were covered with photos of Xi Xi, all of which were taken secretly. This was the first time Jiang Ran had heard the details. She was furious and felt guilty. She looked up at her older brother, Zhou Jingming.
Zhou Jingming remained calm, twirling the wine glass in his hand, and casually asked, "Is the Yunzhou you're talking about Lu Yunzhou, the general manager of the Lu Group?"
"Yes." Song Chen nodded.
"Are you very familiar with Lu Yunzhou?" Zhou Jingming asked again.
Song Xu hummed in agreement. "We're good friends; we've known each other since we were kids."
"Have you ever met Lu Yunzhou's mother?" Zhou Jingming asked expectantly.
Song Chen and Song Xu exchanged a glance. What did Zhou Jingming mean by suddenly bringing up Aunt Lu's topic?
Zhou Jingming noticed their confusion and explained, "She is the mother of a friend of mine. She and Mrs. Lu were high school classmates and had a good relationship. However, after Mrs. Lu married and moved to Jiangbei, they lost contact."
“My friend’s mother has been talking about Mrs. Lu lately and really wants to see her old friend again. My friend is a filial son. Knowing that I’m in Jiangbei, he found out about me, but I haven’t been able to find out how to get to Mrs. Lu. She seems very mysterious.”

Jiang Ran stared intently at her brother. How could she not know that her brother had some friend who was looking for some Mrs. Lu? Her brother was definitely hiding something from her.
Lin Xi listened silently to the conversation of the three men. When they mentioned Madam Lu, a picture popped into her mind: "Brother Yunzhou must look like his mother."
