Chapter 194 Has Mom come back?

"Xixi, who messaged you?" Song Xu leaned over to look at her phone.
“It’s Brother Zhou,” Lin Xi showed Song Xu the message, “Senior Jiang Yan invited me to dinner tonight.”
Song Xu frowned slightly. "But I can't be with you. I have to go back to the hospital to check on things. I don't know if my grandfather is in the emergency room again."
“I can manage on my own,” Lin Xi said, not intending to have Song Xu come along. “You should go along with your grandfather for now. We can keep in touch by phone during this time, but it’s best to see each other as little as possible.”

Jiang Yan sat with Lin Xi in the back seat of the car. As soon as they got in, Lin Xi couldn't wait to ask, "Cousin, has Mom come back?"
Zhou Jingming glanced back at her and said, "You're back. Let's go home now."
He picked up his aunt this morning and they did a paternity test. The report showed that his aunt and Lin Xi were indeed mother and daughter.
My aunt was very weak. When she got home and learned that her parents had passed away, she fainted from grief and it took her an entire afternoon to calm down.
Zhou Jingming drove extremely fast, and Lin Xi's heart soared even faster.
Jiang Yan held Lin Xi's hand and noticed that her palms were sweaty. "Xi Xi, are you nervous?"
Lin Xi hummed in agreement. "It's my first time meeting my mother, and I don't know what to say or do."

Zhou Jingming drove the car into a large courtyard. The buildings here looked a bit old. Lin Xi got out of the car and looked around. She knew that her uncle was a government employee, and anyone who could live here must be someone important.
Zhou Jingming locked the car and led the way. "Xixi, we live in Unit 1, third floor, door number 1. Come with me."
Lin Xi and Jiang Yan went upstairs hand in hand. Zhou Jingming unlocked the door and called out, "Dad, Mom, Xi Xi is here!"
