Grandma Lin was much more energetic. All the tubes had been removed from her body. She sat cross-legged on the hospital bed and patted the bed to invite Lin Xi to sit down.
Lin Xi sat down next to Grandma Lin, picked up an orange, peeled it, broke it in half, and gave one half to Grandma Lin.
Grandma Lin took it and exclaimed, "We used to only buy seasonal and cheapest fruit. Who would have thought we could eat a variety of fruits every day? There are so many I don't even recognize."
“Yes,” Lin Xi sighed deeply, thinking about the hard times they had gone through before. “We’ve finally gotten over the hardships, thanks to my brother’s ability to make money.”

She sent Song Chen a message asking how long it would take for him to come back. Song Chen replied that it would be a while and told her not to worry.

Lin Xi said she had to leave, and Grandma Lin didn't try to keep her, urging her to go back and attend to her own business.
