Chapter 229 Debts must be repaid sooner or later
"Ruolan, are you having a nightmare?" Lu Zhentao sensed something was wrong when he heard the last sentence.
Hearing Zhou Ruolan's shouts, Lu Yunzhou rushed over to check on the situation. "Mom, what happened?"
Zhou Ruolan slowly emerged from the dream and calmed down. She glanced at Lu Zhentao and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Boss, but I have to go to school today," Jiang Nian said hesitantly.
Lu Yunzhou had forgotten that it was Monday, but that wasn't a problem for him at all. "Two hundred an hour or not?"
"Coming, coming right away!" Jiang Nian didn't pause for a second.
She took a taxi to the Lu family villa and got into the car with Zhou Ruolan.
Zhou Ruolan recognized the girl from yesterday and smiled, nodding at her. "What's your name, little girl?"
“Madam, my name is Jiang Nian, Jiang as in Yangtze River, and Nian as in unforgettable,” Jiang Nian replied politely.
“Jiang Nian,” Zhou Ruolan repeated, “is a very nice name.”
"Thank you, Madam." Jiang Nian smiled.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Jiang Nian carried a lunchbox in one hand and supported Zhou Ruolan with the other, walking towards Lin Xi's ward.
"Madam, shall I wait for you outside?" Jiang Nian was unsure whether she should go in.
"Come in with me. Haven't you eaten breakfast yet? I brought a lot of breakfast, you can have some too." Zhou Ruolan wanted Lin Xi to meet Jiang Nian first, since she was the person who would be placed by her side.
Jiang Nian didn't hesitate at all, and followed Zhou Ruolan inside with the lunchbox in her arms.
Lin Xi had been awake for a while and was reading. She hadn't been to school for so many days and couldn't afford to fall behind in her studies.
Song Xu's sleep schedule was also affected by Lin Xi. When Lin Xi woke up, he couldn't fall back asleep and would sit on the sofa to handle some company matters on his computer.
