Chapter 3 Misunderstanding
Blooming irises are placed in every corner of the restaurant. The bright colors under the dim warm light create an even more romantic atmosphere.
The man sitting opposite him had regular features, was in his early thirties, and had a well-maintained figure. The passage of time had given him a mature and steady temperament.

Shi Jingyuan walked out of the private room, went straight through the corridor to the smoking area, took out a cigarette and lit it.
The enchanting smoke, mixed with a hint of alcohol, drifted out of the window.
The smoking area faces a row of booths by the window, separated only by a few potted shrubs.
Shi Jingyuan saw Lin You who was concentrating on eating at a glance, and opposite her sat a person who surprised him a little.
Cheng Hao also noticed Shi Jingyuan.
The two seemed to know each other and nodded to each other as a greeting.
Shi Jingyuan finished smoking and returned to the private room.
When Lin You and Cheng Hao left the restaurant, the rain had not stopped, but it was gradually subsiding.
Cheng Hao: "I'm driving, I'll take you there."
Lin You smiled politely, "Thank you, no need to bother, there's a bus stop nearby."

After the meeting, Lin You was sent to the pharmacy to buy medicine.

"I'm going to buy medicine for a colleague. If you need it, I can bring you a box?"
"Of course I need it!" He Xuan added before leaving, "Please bring me another box of masks. If I infect Mr. Shi with the virus, I'm afraid I'll lose my job!"

The pharmacy is very close, just across the street from the company.
Lin You walked quickly and came back carrying a large transparent plastic bag.
She returned to the department, distributed the medicine to her colleagues, and called He Xuan to ask him to come down to get the medicine.
The call went through, but he didn't answer and quickly sent a message back.
"Sister Lin, I have to go to the PR department for a small meeting. Could you please put the medicine at my workstation? No. 18, Administration Department. Please, thank you!"

In the office, Shi Jingyuan was looking through the group's financial statements.
Hearing a knock on the door, he looked up.
The person who came in to deliver coffee was not Lin You.
Surprise flashed in his eyes. This was the first woman who had the opportunity but did not approach him.
After taking the coffee, Shi Jingyuan said to his secretary calmly, "Leaving your post without permission will not happen again."
