After lunch, Mei Jian started pestering Mei Si, wanting to hear her talk about things abroad.

"Mei Jian! Mei Jian, are you there?" Chen Linlin continued to call from outside.
"Linlin, is Mei Jian not home yet?" Xu Xi noticed that Mei Jian hadn't come out and thought he might not be home.
"Where could he have gone? He must be angry with me!" Chen Linlin said, her eyes brimming with tears.
"Don't worry, we've all lost teeth before, Mei Jian won't get angry over something like this," Xu Xi comforted her.
"But... he didn't even say goodbye when he left." Chen Linlin didn't quite believe Xu Xi's words, because usually when they went out, Mei Jian would come and tell them if he left early.
"Jianjian, why aren't you going out? Hurry up and go see what's wrong with them!" Mei's mother heard someone calling Mei Jian from the kitchen. Seeing that Mei Jian hadn't moved for a while, she came into the room to urge him.
