After listening to Mei Liang and the others' boring conversation for a while, Ye Si got sleepy. She climbed off the kang (a heated brick bed), ran back to the small room, took off her clothes, lay back in her original spot, and closed her eyes to sleep.
Hao Ersao followed along to check on the situation, and was even more impressed to find that Yesi knew to take off her clothes and go to sleep on her own.
