"Yes, who are you...?"
"I'm Hu Qing! What, don't you recognize me?"
"Sister Hu? It's been so long, I almost didn't recognize you." Mei Jian stared wide-eyed at Hu Qing, finally finding a resemblance to her former self.
Mei Jian: Is this Sister Hu? Her makeup is so heavy, I can't even tell her face. Was she the one who was arm in arm with my sister yesterday?
"Here you go, chocolates I brought back from Hong Kong." Hu Qing suddenly opened the back door of the car, took out a large box from inside, and handed it to Mei Jian.
"This..." Mei Jian hesitated, unsure whether he should accept it.
He wasn't familiar with Hu Qing, but Hu Qing gave him things as soon as they met, which he felt was a bit too enthusiastic.
"Quick, take this! Help me call your sister out; we made plans to go out together."
"Want to go out and have some fun?" Mei Jian rolled his eyes. "Can I come along?"
Mei Jian felt that Hu Qing had changed too much, and his sister was a bit silly. He was worried about the two of them going out alone, so he decided to go with her to put his mind at ease.
"Sure! No problem! Go call your sister." Hu Qing nodded and readily agreed.
When Grandma Mei saw that Mei Jian had returned with a box of things, she assumed that the people outside were looking for Mei Jian.
"Is it your classmate contacting you again?"
"No, it's Sister Hu. She's back. She came to see you." Mei Jian turned to Mei Si. "She said she had arranged to go out with you. Wasn't that the person I saw when I came back yesterday?"
"Ah, yes." Mei Si nodded, lowered her head to shovel the last mouthful of porridge into her mouth, and stood up to leave.
"Hu Qing? She's back? I heard from her mother that she got married over there, and her husband is really rich! He can afford a car. It seems her mother wasn't exaggerating!" Grandma Mei glanced at the car at the gate and muttered to herself.
"Wait a minute, how long are you going to be gone?" Wang Ce Lou couldn't help but call out to Mei Si as she was about to leave.
"I didn't know! It's leaking. Why don't you come with me!"
"No way! Don't stay out too late, and remember to come back early." Wang Ce Lou's face darkened, and he shook his head in refusal.
Wang Celou: I will absolutely not go out until Mei Si changes how she is addressed!
"Oh." Mei Si was a little disappointed; she had thought Ce Lou would go with her.
Mei Si turned and went out, and Mei Jian followed her out.
"Hey? Jianjian, where are you going? Have you finished eating?" Grandma Mei called out as she saw Mei Jian running out.
"I'm not eating anymore, I'm going with my sister!"
Grandma Mei shook her head as she looked at the porridge that was left at the bottom of the bowl, then took it and poured it into her own bowl.
"This child always joins in whatever's exciting."
