Chapter 120

"What are you looking at? Come in quickly!" Wang Ma asked, puzzled.

Wang's father glanced at the kitchen, then pulled his wife into the house. He needed to ask her what was going on with his mother-in-law.

What's wrong with Mom today?

Something's not right here.

"Oh, it's nothing. I just suddenly realized how good you are and decided to treat you better," Wang Ma said, her eyes darting around.

"Huh? What did I do?" Mr. Wang thought carefully, wondering if he had done anything recently that would make his mother-in-law particularly happy.

"You're so unaccustomed to being treated well? Do I have to give you a hard time every day?" Wang's mother rolled her eyes at Wang's father and said.

Mr. Wang had a terrible stomachache during the meal, and his mother-in-law kept piling food onto his plate, so the food in his bowl never seemed to decrease.

His mother-in-law was unusually kind to him, so Wang's father didn't dare say he was full, afraid of upsetting her. He could only stuff himself full, and in the end, he was stuffed.

On the way home, Wang's father hiccuped as he drove.

"Why didn't you say anything when you were full? You kept stuffing yourself, weren't you afraid of bursting your belly?" Wang's mother shook her head and said helplessly, looking at Wang's father who kept burping.

"It's rare for Mom to put food on my plate, how could I not eat it?" Wang's father actually wanted to say that he dared not refuse to eat, but if he said that, his wife would definitely beat him up.

After leaving the bag at home, Wang's father went to Mei's house to return the car. Following his mother's instructions, Wang Celou carried the bag into the east room.

"Mom, didn't you say you were going to stay at Grandma's for a few days? Why are you back today?" Wang Ce Lou now felt that not only Grandma Yu was acting strangely, but even his mother was acting strangely.

“Now that we’ve figured out what happened to your grandma, you don’t need to stay there anymore. We have bigger problems to solve now.” Wang Ma opened the bag and took out a few pieces of clothing.

"The bigger problem? Is it these clothes? Are all these clothes?" Wang Cailou walked in and saw that the bag was full of clothes. He frowned and looked at the other bags, asking.

"Yes, all of them."

Looking at the clothes, Wang Ma felt somewhat worried.

"Grandma bought so many clothes, is she planning to sell them? Doesn't she look down on those vendors?"

“Your grandma used to look down on them because she didn’t know how much money they made. Now that she knows they’ve bought cars and houses through business, she’s immediately tempted and thinks they can make a lot of money too, so she’s been buying a lot of goods from them.”

"

"Doing business isn't that easy," Wang Celou said, somewhat speechless, feeling that Grandma Yu had oversimplified the matter.

“But your maternal grandmother thinks it’s very easy.” Wang Ma shook her head; she couldn’t understand her mother’s naive idea either.

When Wang's father returned home, the Wang family held a family meeting. At the meeting, Wang's mother suggested that they first help her mother fix the hole.

“Mom is getting old, and this time she has lost all her money. It has been a huge blow to her. I’m afraid she will get sick from the stress, so I…” Wang’s mother looked at her husband, hoping he would support her.

“Giving money is fine, it’s only right to be filial to our mother, but you’re bringing all these clothes over here…you’re not planning to sell them yourself, are you?” Mr. Wang had no problem with giving his mother-in-law money, but selling clothes was not something his wife was good at.

"What can we do if we don't sell them? We can't just leave them there unattended. These are all money; we just need to make back our costs." Wang Ma was also a little unsure; how would she know how to sell anything?

All she does is buy things.

"Have you decided where to sell them yet?" Wang Celou thought that Grandma Yu couldn't sell them because she hadn't chosen the right location.

If Mother had chosen the right location, these clothes wouldn't have been unsellable.

“Your grandma sold four items at the park entrance last time. I think that place is pretty good, and I plan to set up a stall there again.”

"...The park, except on holidays, is mostly frequented by the elderly and children. These clothes are clearly meant for young people, so they won't sell many there."

Wang Celou looked at his mother with a headache, thinking that his mother was indeed his maternal grandmother's biological daughter.

"Oh? Where can we sell them then? The clothing street won't work. Your grandma went there, and she didn't sell a single item." Wang Ma originally thought that as long as she could find some time each day to set up a stall in the park, she would be fine. But after hearing what her son said, she suddenly realized that the park entrance wouldn't work.

"The night market, I suggest. There are lots of people there, and they sell all sorts of things," Wang Celou said after thinking for a moment.

"Yes, the night market is great! Most of the people who go to the night market are young people." Wang Ma nodded, thinking her son was incredibly clever!

Wang Celou watched his mother begin preparations and suddenly had a bad feeling that the clothes wouldn't sell well.
