"Grandma, what are you doing?" Wang Ce Lou stepped forward and grabbed Grandma Yu's arm, trying to stop her from talking.
“You too, when she comes to you, you don’t ignore her, do you? It’s because you’re mindful of your childhood friendship and give in to her that she’s taken advantage of you and keeps bothering you!” Yu Guiping turned to her grandson and began to lecture him.
"Grandma! What's wrong with you today? She didn't bother me. We've always had a good relationship since we were little! I always go to see her too." Wang Celou clenched his fist, suppressing his anger, and said.
Mei Si finished eating the apple in her hand before standing up and walking out of the house. She stood in front of Grandma Yu and carefully looked her over.
"You... what are you looking at? I'm telling you! From now on, stay away from our Lou Lou!" Yu Guiping felt uneasy under Mei Si's empty gaze. She took a step back, creating some distance between herself and Mei Si, and said.
"Oh! You're talking to me!" Mei Si finally realized that Yu Guiping had been talking to her the whole time.
"You!" Yu Guiping felt a lump in her throat, clutching her chest and taking a deep breath. "Isn't that obvious? There are only three people here. Besides me and Lou Lou, it's just you."
“You didn’t call my name, so I thought you were talking to yourself,” Mays said with a shrug.
"Who talks to themselves that loudly?" Yu Guiping shouted angrily.
"Who says you have to whisper when you talk to yourself?" Mei Si tilted her head, looked at Grandma Yu strangely, and asked.
"..." Yu Guiping choked so hard that her vision went black.
Wang Celou pursed his lips, suppressing a smile, and stepped forward to help Grandma Yu, who was somewhat unsteady on her feet.
It took Yu Guiping a long time to catch her breath. Once she calmed down, she realized that she had been led astray by Mei Si.
"Don't give me that nonsense. Stay away from my grandson from now on and don't show up in front of him!" Yu Guiping pushed Wang Celou's hand away, took a step forward, and glared at Mei Si.
"Who are you from the leak?" Mei asked calmly.
"You're blind... I'm Lou Lou's maternal grandmother." Yu Guiping almost cursed without regard for her status, but fortunately she held back in time.
Would your maternal grandmother make such a request of you?
"Your grandma!!!" Yu Guiping was furious when she heard Mei Si say the first three words and immediately retorted.
“My grandma would never ask me to do that,” Mei Si said, frowning.
"Wh...what kind of nonsense is this?" Yu Guiping realized she had misunderstood and felt a little embarrassed. She glanced at her grandson next to her, and sure enough, he was looking at her with disapproval.
"Would your maternal grandmother allow you and your husband to not see each other?" Mei Si asked, explaining again when she saw that her maternal grandmother didn't understand.
“My grandmother would never make such a request. She never interferes in our affairs as a couple.” Yu Guiping looked completely bewildered. How could her grandmother possibly prevent the couple from seeing each other?
“Even your grandmother isn’t involved, so why are you getting involved?” Mei Si asked in surprise.
"I..." Yu Guiping opened her mouth, not knowing how to refute Mei Si.
"Wait! How can that be the same? My husband and I are married, but you and Lou Lou are not legally married! You two have no relationship whatsoever, so it's only right that I intervene." Yu Guiping almost got caught up in Mei Si's scheme again, but thankfully she reacted in time.
Yu Guiping realized she had underestimated Mei Si. She had thought Mei Si was just a fool, but she hadn't expected her to be so cunning.
“When I’m old enough, we’ll get our marriage certificate too,” Mei Si said confidently, raising her chin.
"What?! Lou Lou, is what she said true? Do your parents know about this?" Yu Guiping looked at her grandson in shock, waiting for him to deny it.
Before Wang Celou could say anything, Mei Si answered for him first.
"My parents both agreed, otherwise I wouldn't have told you."
"Lou Lou, do your parents agree?" Yu Guiping glanced at Mei Si and continued to ask.
"Didn't I tell you? Mom and Dad agreed. Why don't you understand?" Mei Si frowned and looked at Grandma Yu. Was she hard of hearing?
"Dad! Mom! They both agree to our relationship! We're adults now! We'll get our marriage certificate!" Mei Si suddenly stepped forward and shouted it again into Grandma Yu's ear.
Yu Guiping stumbled back three steps, clutching her buzzing head, her lips trembling with anger.
"Lou Lou, is what she said true? Are you really going to get a marriage certificate with this nobody, Mei Si?" Yu Guiping asked, staring at Mei Si.
Yu Guiping was truly terrified of Mei Si. She didn't even dare to look at her grandson when she asked him questions, fearing that Mei Si would take advantage of her inattention to run up to her ear and call out to her again.
“It’s true,” Wang Ma replied to her mother, standing at the door.
Wang Ma had just been outside the door when she heard Sisi shouting. When she came in, she heard her mother belittling Sisi like that.
Wang Ma was very angry. She treated Sisi like her own daughter. How could a mother say such things to Sisi?
Wang Ma simply stopped asking about the background and decided to unconditionally support Sisi for the time being.
Yu Guiping turned around abruptly and looked at her daughter who had returned at some point. She hadn't expected her daughter to be so foolish. How could her grandson, who had such a promising future, be so hasty in his marriage?
