"I want to drink that one." Mei Si sniffed and immediately noticed that the two bowls of soup were different. She looked longingly at the soup in Wang Ce Lou's bowl and said.
"Sisi, that soup doesn't taste as good as this one. This one is good for replenishing your qi and blood."
Wang Ma pushed the soup bowl towards Mei Si again and said.
Wang Celou paused in his soup-drinking motion, put down the bowl, and looked at Wang Ma with a suspicious expression.
"What kind of soup is this?"
"It's also good for replenishing qi and blood. Drink it while it's hot, it won't taste good when it's cold." Wang Ma lowered her eyes and urged her son to drink it quickly.
“They’re all for replenishing qi and blood, why can’t Sisi drink them? Here, Sisi, drink this.” Wang Celou’s eyes flashed, and he made a move to hand the bowl to Mei Si.
“Although they are both for replenishing qi and blood, yours is for men, so it’s not good for Sisi to drink it!” Aunt Wang quickly said.
"Replenish... a man's blood and qi?" Wang Celou's face began to turn pale; he was thinking of something bad.
Wang Celou put the bowl on the table, not intending to touch it again.
"You silly child, why did you leave it there? Your mother got up early this morning to buy it for you, drink it while it's hot!" When Wang's father saw that his son had just left the soup that his mother had been simmering for hours on the table, his expression turned sour.
"Thank you, Mom, but I really don't need this." Wang Celou had already drunk half a bowl of it. If he hadn't known that his mother had made it especially for him, he would have run to the toilet to throw up long ago.
"What is this? Why can't I drink it? If it's leaking, then let me drink it!" Mei Si said, staring longingly at the remaining half bowl of soup.
"Sisi, this soup is only for men, not women," Wang Ma said again.
"If the leaky one doesn't drink it, then let Dad drink it!" Mei Si said, turning to another man in the house when she saw Wang Ce Lou's bad expression.
"Cough cough cough..." Wang's father choked on a piece of steamed bun.
