The next day, Ji Wan came to the company early and continued to study the information of the Nanjing project.
Cheng Wen arrived earlier than her and was sorting a pile of documents.
Seeing Ji Wan, he nodded, "Good morning."

After saying that, he looked at Cheng Wen meaningfully, then turned and left.

The receptionist took them to a private room called Fulu and knocked on the door gently.
"Come in." A rough voice came from inside.
In the box, a man in his fifties sat in the main seat. He had thick eyebrows, big eyes, and a slightly protruding belly. He looked like a successful man with a comfortable life.
There were three middle-aged men sitting next to him. When they saw Ji Wan and Xia Guoguo come in, their eyes immediately lit up.
"Oh, Mr. Chi sent two beauties!" The man stood up, smiling, "I'm Zhang Hao, and these are my partners."
Ji Wan smiled and extended her hand, "Hello, Mr. Zhang, I'm Ji Wan, and this is my colleague Xia Guoguo."
Zhang Hao held Ji Wan's hand for a few seconds longer than required by courtesy, looking her over unscrupulously.
"I've heard a lot about you. Ms. Ji is truly as beautiful as a fairy."
Zhang Hao gestured for them to sit down, "Come, have a drink."
The waiter brought the wine and Zhang Hao raised his glass, "Cheers to our cooperation!"
Ji Wan picked up the wine glass and calmly changed it to a teacup. "Mr. Zhang, shall we discuss the contract details first?"
Zhang Hao waved his hand. "What's the rush? Let's drink first. We can talk about work later."
He looked at Xia Guoguo and said, "Little girl, have one too."
Xia Guoguo glanced at Ji Wan nervously, and Ji Wan nodded slightly, indicating that she didn't need to worry.
After a few rounds, the atmosphere gradually heated up. Zhang Hao and his friends began to tell dirty jokes and occasionally let out vulgar laughter.
Zhang Hao suddenly stood up and walked over to Ji Wan. "Boss Ji, I heard you used to be the head of Ji Corporation? Why are you now willing to be Chi Lin's subordinate?"
Ji Wan smiled calmly, "Business is like a battlefield, victory and defeat are commonplace in the military."
Zhang Hao laughed heartily and suddenly put his hand on Ji Wan's shoulder. "I like women like you who have stories. Come, have another drink."
Ji Wan cleverly avoided his hand and said, "Mr. Zhang, it's about the contract."
"What contract or no contract?"
A hint of impatience flashed in Zhang Hao's eyes. "Little beauty, let's have fun tonight. It's not too late to sign tomorrow."
He snapped his fingers, the door of the box was pushed open, and several girls in scantily clad clothes walked in.
"Everyone, it's time to add to the fun."
One of Zhang Hao's friends stood up and put his arm around a girl. "Mr. Ji, Ms. Xia, why don't we go to the room upstairs? The atmosphere will be better."
Xia Guoguo's face turned pale and she held Ji Wan's hand tightly.
Ji Wan stood up and said calmly, "Mr. Zhang, we are here to discuss business. If you are not sincere, then we will take our leave."
Zhang Hao's face darkened. "Boss Ji, don't be ungrateful. Chi Lin sent you here. Didn't he tell you the rules?"
Another man reached out to pull Xia Guoguo, "Don't be afraid, little beauty, brother loves you."
Xia Guoguo screamed in fear and hid behind Ji Wan.
A cold light flashed in Ji Wan's eyes. He grabbed the bottle of wine on the table and warned, "Let her go!"
Zhang Hao suddenly burst into laughter and walked towards Ji Wan. "She has personality, I like it. Chi Lin really knows how to have fun, sending such a beautiful former CEO to serve me."
He reached out to grab Ji Wan's wrist, but Ji Wan was quick-witted and grabbed the bottle and smashed it on Zhang Hao's head.
“Bang!”
The wine bottle shattered, and blood immediately flowed from Zhang Hao's head. He shook a few times and covered his head in horror.
