Chapter 481 Cold Killing Intent

Chapter 481 Cold Killing Intent

He looked out the window again, and this time, there was only cold murderous intent in his eyes.

He wanted to make that woman pay the most painful price for her stupidity and viciousness.

The office door was pushed open again, this time, it was respectfully opened by the assistant.

He turned sideways, revealing a slightly disheveled figure behind him.

Su Jiujiu stood at the door, her face pale, a few strands of her carefully groomed hair scattered, unable to hide the panic in her eyes.

She was wearing a loose-fitting dress, but even that couldn't completely hide her slightly bulging belly.

That arc seemed particularly dazzling under Chi Wenyan's cold gaze.

As soon as she entered, she saw Chi Wenyan standing in front of the French window with his hands behind his back. The air pressure around the man was frighteningly low. Even from a distance, Su Jiujiu could feel the overwhelming aura that almost crushed him.

"Wen Yan..." Su Jiujiu spoke softly, her voice trembling with a deliberate effort, trying to evoke the man's pity. She subconsciously placed her hand gently on her lower abdomen, the action full of suggestion.

Chi Wenyan slowly turned around, and on his handsome face, there was no trace of his former gentleness, only a chilling sinisterness.

His gaze was like the sharpest scalpel, scraping across Su Jiujiu's face inch by inch, and finally resting on her hand that was protecting her belly.

"Wen Yan, I..." Su Jiujiu felt uneasy when he looked at her. She could hardly say the rest of the words. She could only force herself to squeeze out a tearful expression, "I know you are angry, but I had no choice. That night..."

"Shut up." Chi Wenyan's voice was not loud, but it was filled with an unquestionable majesty and extreme disgust. "Su Jiujiu, put away your hypocritical tricks. It's disgusting to watch."

Su Jiujiu's face turned three shades paler in an instant. She didn't expect Chi Wenyan to be so ruthless.

She bit her lower lip, her eyes quickly reddened, tears welling up in them: "Wen Yan, how could you say that to me? I'm in my stomach..."

"What does the stuff in your stomach have to do with me?" Chi Wenyan sneered, his laughter full of ridicule and contempt. "Don't tell me you think you can get any benefits from me, Chi Wenyan, with such an unclear thing."

His words were like a heavy hammer, hitting Su Jiujiu's heart hard.

She looked at him in disbelief, her voice sharper: "Unclear? Chi Wenyan. This is your child."

"My child?" Chi Wenyan approached her step by step, as if he had heard a huge joke. Each step was accompanied by a heavy sense of oppression, causing Su Jiujiu to shrink back involuntarily.

He walked up to her, looking down at her condescendingly, the coldness in his eyes almost freezing her: "Su Jiujiu, do you think I'm a fool, or do you think everyone is as stupid as you? Do you really think you can get away with using those despicable tricks of yours?"

Su Jiujiu's heart sank suddenly, and an ominous premonition quickly spread.

She forced herself to remain calm: "I don't understand what you're talking about. Have you forgotten everything that happened that night?"

"That night?" Chi Wenyan's mouth curled up cruelly. "That night, you directed and acted out a good show yourself. Wasn't it just to climb into my bed and then become famous because of your son?"

His voice suddenly rose, filled with thunderous anger, "Unfortunately, you miscalculated. I, Chi Wenyan, am not so desperate as to touch a piece of trash like you."

Su Jiujiu stumbled, holding onto the armrest of the sofa next to her to stabilize herself. The color drained from her face, and her eyes were filled with fear and resentment. "What are you talking about? It was obviously you who touched me."

"If you don't want others to know, then don't do it yourself." Chi Wenyan snorted coldly, his eyes so sharp that they seemed to penetrate her soul. "Do you think that you can get what you want by plotting against me? Su Jiujiu, you think too highly of yourself, and you underestimate me, Chi Wenyan."

He paused, his tone growing colder. "Moreover, you should never, ever set your sights on Ji Wan. How dare you disrespect her in the hospital and let her suffer even the slightest injustice?"

At the mention of Ji Wan, Chi Wenyan's anger instantly surged. He took a step forward and grabbed Su Jiujiu's chin, forcing her to look up and meet his gaze.

The force was so great that Su Jiujiu cried out in pain, tears instantly welling up in her eyes.

"Wen Yan, it hurts, let me go..." Su Jiujiu begged for mercy incoherently, and felt discomfort in her abdomen.

"Hurt?" Chi Wenyan's eyes showed no mercy, only surging anger. "What's this little pain? Ji Wan had a high fever, was verbally abused by you, and was pushed around by you. Didn't she feel any pain? Su Jiujiu, your worthless life is not even worth a hair of hers."

His fingers tightened, and Su Jiujiu felt as if her jaw was about to break. She shook her head desperately, tears and saliva streaming down her face.

"I didn't, I didn't push her, it was her fault, it was a misunderstanding..."

"Misunderstanding?" Chi Wenyan's eyes were so cold that ice chips could fall out. "Assistant, read her what you found out so that she can die with a clear mind."

"Yes, President." The assistant stepped forward, took out his cell phone expressionlessly, and read clearly.

"According to hospital surveillance footage and eyewitness testimony, Ms. Su approached my wife in the hospital lobby and spoke to her, repeatedly mentioning your 'relationship' with her and aggressively provoking her. As my wife turned to leave, Ms. Su clearly reached out, pulled her, and pushed her, nearly causing her to fall."

Every word was like a slap in the face of Su Jiujiu.

Her face was ashen, and all her excuses seemed pale and powerless.

Chi Wenyan shook her chin away, disgusted as if he had touched something dirty, took out a handkerchief from his pocket, wiped his hands, and then threw the handkerchief on the ground as if throwing away a piece of garbage.

"Su Jiujiu," he said, his voice as if it came from the Netherworld, "You've been scheming to stay here and climb up the ranks of my Chi family. Now, I'm giving you this chance."

A hint of surprise flashed across Su Jiujiu's eyes, and then a faint glimmer of hope rose.

However, Chi Wenyan's next words made her feel like she was falling into an ice cave: "I will make you stay and watch with your own eyes how you will be ruined and lose everything. Don't you like acting? I will make you act this out to the point where you would rather die than live."

Su Jiujiu's whole body was cold, and every pore was screaming with fear.

Chi Wenyan's words were like the sharpest knife, slicing at her dignity and hope. She couldn't stay. Absolutely not. If she stayed, she would be doomed.

She turned abruptly and stumbled towards the door, with only one thought in her mind - escape.

Escape from this den of evil, escape from the devil Chi Wenyan.
