Chapter 513 The young girl standing beside him

Chapter 513 The young girl standing beside him

How come he is here?

However, the next second, her heart sank to the bottom.

Following behind Chi Wenyan was a young girl. The girl was about twenty years old, with long, straight black hair, fair skin, and delicate features like a doll. She was wearing a light yellow dress, looking youthful and lively.

The girl was carrying several bags containing water, fruit, and something that looked like food.

She was looking up and saying something to Chi Wenyan, with a sweet smile on her face and clear eyes, showing undisguised dependence and closeness.

Chi Wenyan, with his face turned sideways, was listening to her with his head down. There was a gentle curve on the corner of his mouth that Ji Wan had never seen before. His eyes were focused, and there was even a hint of imperceptible indulgence.

The two stood side by side, one tall and handsome, the other pretty and charming, the picture was dazzlingly harmonious.

The girl seemed to be talking about something happy. She reached out her hand, took Chi Wenyan's arm affectionately, and shook it gently.

Chi Wenyan didn't push her away.

Ji Wan only felt a surge of anger and bitterness, mixed with indescribable disappointment, rushing straight to his head.

"Please hurt me?"

His humble prayer is still ringing in my ears. It seems so ridiculous now.

There is never a shortage of women around him. There is Su Jiujiu, and now there is another younger and more beautiful one.

What was she, Ji Wan, an old toy he didn't want to let go of?

Chi Wenyan also saw Ji Wan sitting up at this time. The gentle expression on his face froze instantly, and then he walked over quickly: "Wanwan, are you awake? How do you feel? Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"

His tone was full of concern, but Ji Wan only felt it was extremely hypocritical.

The young girl also came over, looked at Ji Wan curiously, and then said sweetly: "Brother Wen Yan, is this your sister-in-law? You are so beautiful."

Brother Wen Yan? Sister-in-law?

Ji Wan sneered, his eyes sharp as a knife, shooting straight at Chi Wenyan: "Mr. Chi is really in a good mood. Here he accompanies the little beauty, and over there he still finds time to come and see me. It's really hard for you."

She emphasized the word "I".

Chi Wenyan's expression instantly turned ugly: "Wanwan, what nonsense are you talking about? This is..."

"It doesn't matter who I am," the young girl seemed not to notice the tension in Ji Wan's words, and continued to smile. "I'm glad you're okay, sister-in-law. Brother Wen Yan was so worried that he rushed over as soon as he got the call."

"Oh? Really?" Ji Wan twitched his lips, his eyes cold. "Then should I also thank Mr. Chi for coming?"

Without even looking at Chi Wenyan, she pulled out the infusion needle on the back of her hand, and blood gushed out.

"Wanwan, what are you doing?" Chi Wenyan was shocked and hurriedly grabbed her hand, trying to press the needle hole.

"Don't touch me." Ji Wan shook his hand away violently, his eyes filled with disgust and determination, "Chi Wenyan, I feel sick."

These words were like a poisoned blade, piercing Chi Wenyan's heart. His face turned pale instantly, and his outstretched hand froze in mid-air.

"Sister-in-law, did you misunderstand something? My name is Lin Chuxia, and I'm Brother Wen Yan's..." The young girl hurriedly tried to explain.

"I don't need to know who you are," Ji Wan interrupted her coldly, his eyes falling on Chi Wenyan again with a strong sense of sarcasm.

"Chi Wenyan, I will have my lawyer handle our divorce procedures as soon as possible. I hope you can be kind and stop pestering me so that we can part ways amicably. Otherwise, I will delay your relationship with Miss Lin."

After saying that, she didn't even look at the two of them, picked up her bag next to her, endured the dizziness and physical discomfort, and staggered out of the ward.

"Wanwan." Chi Wenyan was anxious and wanted to catch up.

"Brother Wen Yan." Lin Chuxia held him back, "Sister-in-law seems really angry, go and explain."

Chi Wenyan looked at Ji Wan's back without any reluctance, and felt a deep sense of powerlessness and panic. This misunderstanding seemed even more difficult for her to accept than the one with Su Jiujiu.

He punched the wall hard, his eyes bloodshot, his voice hoarse: "She won't listen to my explanation"

Ji Wan rushed out of the hospital, and the sun was still scorching outside.

She stood by the roadside, feeling cold all over, as if there was a big hole in her heart, with cold wind blowing in.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but she stubbornly raised her head to prevent them from falling.

Chi Wenyan, you bastard, big liar.

She would never trust him again, never.

After leaving the hospital, the scorching sun was burning the earth, but she felt as if all the blood in her body had frozen and she was cold from head to toe.

The big hole in his heart was now filled with broken ice, and every breath was freezing cold.

She stood by the roadside, like an abandoned sculpture, looking around blankly. The world was so big, but there was no branch to rely on.

Tears were about to burst out of her eyes. She bit her lower lip tightly, raised her head stubbornly, and tried to force the liquid back.

The sky was dazzlingly blue, just like Chi Wenyan's eyes that were once filled with tenderness, but now only filled with hypocrisy and deception.

Chi Wenyan, you are a complete bastard and a big liar. She will never believe him again, never.

Just as she was distracted, a black SUV slowly stopped beside her.

The car window rolled down, revealing a handsome and slightly unruly face.

"Miss Ji?" Fu Chen's voice sounded slightly surprised. "Why are you here? You look so bad."

Ji Wan was stunned for a moment before she recognized Fu Chen. It was him, the pilot who had saved her in the hotel.

At this moment, he was wearing a simple white T-shirt and jeans, with his hair casually draped over his forehead. He lacked the rigor of a uniform and had more of the friendliness of a boy next door.

"Captain Fu." She forced a smile that was uglier than crying, her voice hoarse.

Fu Chen opened the car door and walked a few steps to her. His eyes lingered on her pale face and the back of her hand, which was obviously red and swollen. His brows furrowed slightly. "Did you just come out of the hospital?"

Ji Wan nodded, not wanting to say more. She didn't want to mention even a single word about those unbearable, disgusting scenes.

"Get in the car," Fu Chen opened the passenger door, "You're not in a good condition to be out here alone. Where do you want to go? I'll take you there."

Ji Wan hesitated for a moment. She really had nowhere to go now.

Go back to the home she once shared with Chi Wenyan? She couldn't do it.

Go to a hotel? She was exhausted physically and mentally, and just wanted to find a quiet place to hide.

"I……"

"Get in the car first, it's too hot outside." Fu Chen's tone was gentle but unyielding.

Ji Wan finally got in the car. The air conditioner was turned up high, dispelling some of the heat, but it couldn't dispel the chill in her heart.
