Chapter 39 Cooperation
The more Wu Zhenhai looked at him, the brighter his eyes became. This child's talent and aesthetic taste were exactly the same as his mentor's back then. If he had a good development, his accomplishments would be no worse than his.
Suppressing the surprise in his heart, Wu Zhenhai first sent a message to Ji Wan. He agreed to the cooperation. However, the clothing design was finalized, and the packaging box and other items needed to be designed. This also required Ji Wan to send the design drawings first before a decision could be made.
When the phone rang, Ji Wan opened it and saw the message from Wu Zhenhai. He curled his lips and smiled. He was not surprised at all. It was all within his expectations.
She finished the design of the packaging box that afternoon. After reading it, Wu Zhenhai was very satisfied and immediately said that he would send the cooperation contract to her the next day.
The orders are so large and numerous that the Development Department cannot handle them all. They were originally business for the company, so naturally they have to be distributed to other departments.
It is natural to be in a good mood to get a big cooperation. Ji Wan continued to make plans while drinking coffee. He couldn't stop just after finishing a deal. He had to stay energetic at all times.
After a busy day, I finally got off work as usual as I wished.
When Ji Wan thought about going back to Zhou Zechuan's home, she felt depressed and thought it was time to find an opportunity to move out. She was afraid that she would become depressed at such a young age, or that she would not be able to control herself and kill him one day.
As I walked out of the company and was daydreaming, I saw a familiar figure standing in the alley, his figure blending into the darkness.
Although he couldn't see his features clearly, Ji Wan could intuitively tell that it was Chi Wenyan.
What was he doing standing there? He looked a little strange, and now he was leaning slightly to the side, as if hiding from something.
For some reason, Ji Wan walked over subconsciously, but hesitated. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a person appearing behind Chi Wenyan.
There was a flash of cold light in the hand, as if he was holding a dagger, but not quite.
Before he could even utter the subconscious word "careful", Chi Wenyan had already reacted. He turned his body extremely quickly and knocked the man to the ground with an elbow.
Ji Wan opened his eyes wide, he didn't expect Chi Wenyan to be so skilled.
Before she could come to her senses, Chi Wenyan suddenly approached her and said in a low voice, "Go quickly."
My keen intuition told me that there was danger, so I turned around and ran immediately. I was glad that I was not wearing high heels today.
I ran into another alley, but couldn't see anything clearly in the dim environment.
Just as I was thinking about where to go, my wrist suddenly tightened, and the next second, I was pulled to the side by a strong force.
"Be quiet."
A familiar voice sounded beside my ears, but my mouth was covered by a long, broad hand, and I couldn't make a sound.
Ji Wan nodded and held his breath with Chi Wenyan.
Several figures hurriedly ran past the alley and soon disappeared into the night without a trace.
Just as Ji Wan was about to move, Chi Wenyan moved so close to her that she dared not move.
The slender fingers lightly picked up Ji Wan's hair, which was both ambiguous and frivolous.
The next second, he lowered his head and leaned closer, kissing Ji Wan on the lips. Their bodies overlapped. Ji Wan was puzzled but also felt something was wrong, so he cooperated.
With a glance, I saw those figures had turned back at some point, staring at me like ghosts for a while before leaving.
After the people left, Ji Wan was able to catch her breath. She wiped the red corners of her lips with her fingertips, her eyes were blurred and charming. She was clearly glaring at people with some dissatisfaction, but her cheeks were flushed, and the glare seemed to be filled with a bit of coquettish anger.
Chi Wenyan stared at her eyebrows and his heart suddenly skipped a beat.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, his voice low and a little hoarse.
"Mr. Chi is so insincere that he only thought of apologizing after the kiss."
Ji Wan straightened his clothes and looked outside the alley.
"Who were those just now?"
"Enemy, my enemy in Kyoto."
"As expected of a big shot, his enemies have all come all the way to Yucheng."
"Are you afraid?"
Ji Wan was stunned by the question, raised his eyebrows slightly, and looked at Chi Wenyan with his arms folded.
"I'm not even afraid of a business war like watering a money tree, so what else can I be afraid of?"
This nonsensical remark made Chi Wenyan, who always had a poker face, lose his composure and he chuckled softly.
“Okay, I know how courageous Miss Ji is.”
"How are we going to get out? Don't let them kill you the moment you show your head."
"I'll take you away."
Chi Wenyan walked in front and Ji Wan followed behind him, and had to pay attention to the situation behind from time to time.
She put her hand in her bag, tightly holding the pepper spray, and sprayed anyone who dared to come over with a bottle.
After twists and turns, the two of them had walked out of the alley. Outside was a street full of lights and wine, and Ji Wan was already dizzy.
I felt ashamed that I, a local, was not as familiar with the terrain as an outsider.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Chi Wenyan turned around and saw Ji Wan staring at him strangely.
"Nothing, I'm just curious how you are so familiar with the terrain here."
"When playing escape room, you must memorize the safe passage."
Chi Wenyan's words were mysterious. He didn't want to say anything, so Ji Wan didn't ask and followed him to the street.
With a glance, he saw that Chi Wenyan had an injury on his hand.
"Are you hurt?"
"It's a minor injury, nothing serious."
"Stand still. I'll go get you some bandages. Even though the wound isn't big, there's still a risk of infection."
Ji Wan looked serious and walked quickly towards a nearby pharmacy.
Chi Wenyan sat at a roadside stall and waited. In less than a minute, Ji Wan came out.
Holding a bandage in his hand.
"Don't cry out in pain, I won't hold back."
Chi Wenyan nodded. He had experienced all kinds of pain. It was just a bandage, so the pain was minimal.
Ji Wan applied medicine to Chi Wenyan. Although he said that he was not too heavy-handed, he was still very careful when applying the medicine, being as gentle as possible.
Don't let it hurt anyone and make both parties embarrassed.
After applying the medicine, Ji Wan put it into a plastic bag and stuffed it into Chi Wenyan's arms.
"Don't waste it, the medicine inside can still be used."
"good."
"How are you going to get back? Is there anyone picking you up?"
"have."
Ji Wan nodded, stood up and prepared to go back. He had to discuss business tomorrow and had to go to bed early.
"I'll take you back."
“Second brother!”
Before Chi Wenyan could finish his words, he was interrupted by the word "Second brother".
Feng Hao arrived at some point, followed by several burly bodyguards.
Several people standing at the street stall looked very out of place, especially the bodyguards, who looked like they were here to cause trouble.
Chi Wenyan's face darkened, and Ji Wan raised an eyebrow.
"The person who picked you up is here, so I'll leave first."
"I'll have someone take you there."
"No, I'm not injured. I'll make sure I get home safely."
After saying that, Ji Wan waved his hand, strode into the crowd, and soon disappeared.
Feng Hao brought his men forward and when he saw Chi Wenyan’s bandaged wound, he gasped.
"Brother, what happened to you? Why are you injured?!"
