Chapter 13 Another Visit to the Brothel

Chapter 13 Another Visit to the Brothel

"Alright, the rooms have been tidied up today. There are two bedrooms. Gou'er and I will sleep in the big room, and Aman will sleep in the small room." I patted the table and began assigning the rooms.

Upon hearing this, the dog looked strange, while Aman looked aggrieved.

"Any objections?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

The two nodded in unison.

"You go first," I said, pointing at Aman.

"Why do I have to sleep alone..." Aman said, feeling wronged.

I raised my eyebrows. "So, do you want to sleep with the dog, or do you want to sleep with me?"

Aman was slightly taken aback. He looked at Gou'er, who was dressed as a woman, then at me, and lowered his head without saying a word.

"I don't want to sleep with you," the dog said, looking at me with a strange tone.

"Oh? You want to sleep with Aman?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Okay, sure." The dog nodded in agreement.

I was surprised and quickly said earnestly, "Doggy, I don't object to you dating, but early dating is absolutely unacceptable... You're still young, there will be plenty of opportunities for this later..."

"You..." Gou'er's face flushed red, then he said in a muffled voice, "Whatever."

The allocation is now complete.

After a hasty dinner, Aman returned to his room alone, looking dejected, while I dragged my stubborn dog back to my room with me.

I stretched lazily, climbed into bed, and saw the dog dawdling by the door. I raised an eyebrow and said, "Aren't you going to sleep yet?"

He remained silent, his head bowed.

"Alright, alright, stop fooling around, go to sleep, we have to work tomorrow." I waved my hand impatiently, not knowing what he was being difficult about, and turned over to go to sleep first.

I must have been really exhausted during the day, because I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep. In my hazy state, I felt someone tiptoeing towards the bedside and then tiptoeing away.

"Mother... Mother..." I was awakened by a cry in the middle of the night.

It's the sound of a dog.

I suddenly opened my eyes and, in the moonlight, looked toward the source of the sound. It was Gou'er, who was curled up on the couch beside me, like a shrimp, shouting and sweating profusely.

"Why don't you want me... why don't you want me..." the dog barked.

I felt a faint pang of pain in my heart.

I also tend to sleep curled up because I feel insecure and instinctively want to protect myself. Only when I'm curled up can I fall asleep. When I was a child in the orphanage, it was even worse; I would sleep with the blanket over my head because I was afraid of the dark...

"Wake up, dog, wake up..." I gently patted his face and shook him awake.

I opened my eyes in a daze, and the dog looked at me with tear stains at the corners of its eyes.

"If you're really worried, go back." I sighed softly, wiping away his tears.

"Sister... doesn't want me anymore?" He was slightly startled and gasped. "Even my sister doesn't want me anymore?"

I frowned, raised my hand in a delicate gesture, and flicked it hard on his forehead. "What nonsense are you thinking about!"

I flicked a small red mark on its forehead, but the dog didn't cry out in pain or cover its forehead. It just stared at me intently with its clear black and white eyes. "I'm yours. I'll listen to whatever you say. You can't send me away."

Seeing his serious expression, I burst out laughing, raised my hand and pressed it on his head, giving him a good ruffled head of hair, making his long hair a mess. "Haha, little girl, don't think such nonsense, or no one will dare to marry you in the future."

"I already told you I'm not a little girl!" the dog said, embarrassed.

"Haha, not a little girl, but a big girl!" I yawned widely and rubbed my eyes. "You really don't sleep in the bed?"

The dog glanced at the mess I'd made of the bed, his face turning even redder. "I'm fine sleeping here," he muttered, turning his back to me.

I patted him, turned around and climbed back into bed, but I just couldn't fall asleep.

When I woke up the next day, Aman was still sleeping, so I called Gou'er to go to the market to buy some daily necessities.

Standing at the entrance of the brothel, Gou'er's face grew increasingly grim.

"Since it's on the way, let's go in and take a look." I turned to the dog and said with a smile.

"don't want."

"They're already at the door." I said with a smile.

"don't want."

"Didn't you dream about her last night...?"

"None of your business!" the dog yelled at me.

I immediately pulled a long face, turned and left.

"Sister!" Gou'er turned pale and immediately grabbed my arm.

"I'm not going to care about you anymore." I said coldly without turning around to look at him.

The dog bit its lip, remaining silent, but clinging tightly to my arm.

"Didn't you say you didn't want me to interfere?" I pretended to shake him off.

"I...I'm sorry..." he began, his voice stiff.

"Are we going in or not?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

silence.

I shook my hand.

"I'll do whatever you say!" Gou'er said hurriedly, then clung tightly to my arm.

With a slight smile, I turned around and gently patted his face. "It would have been so much better if you had done this earlier. Good boy, let's go inside."

The dog looked at me with a bewildered expression, "You..."

I smiled and pulled him into the brothel. Seeing Gou'er with his head down and a depressed look on his face, I found it amusing. What an awkward child.

I walked a few steps further in and saw a strange donkey tied up at the entrance. Please note that I said "donkey," not "hairy donkey," because... it was a hairless donkey...

"The brothel does not accept female guests!" A woman dressed in brightly colored clothes stepped forward, like a moving Christmas tree.

“Let’s find the wind,” I said, pulling the dog along.

"Miss Returning Wind is not receiving guests today!" Christmas Tree said impatiently, waving its hand.

"Wait!" A loud voice suddenly rang out.

I turned around and saw a fat woman walking over, fanning herself with a round fan.

"Yan Hong, how do you greet your guests!" The fat woman covered her face with a round fan. "Young lady, don't be in such a hurry to leave. Men come to our brothel to seek pleasure, but women can also make money here..." As she spoke, she laughed, her fat body trembling.

I frowned slightly.

"Oh my, what a beauty!" The fat woman's eyes lit up as she stared intently at the dog. "Are you her sister? You must be short of money. Leave your sister here, and I'll give you twenty coins, how about it?"

I could hear the dog's teeth grinding together; he was about to explode.

"I'm looking for Feng, where is she?" Without wasting any words, I got straight to the point.

"If you leave your sister behind, I'll let you know the truth, how about it?" the fat woman said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes at her, a little impatient. "I have no interest in selling my sister. Where's Huifeng?"

The fat woman closed her fan, her face darkening.

I was startled. The face, shaped like a fan, had two small eyes squeezed together, but instead had a huge, blood-red mouth, and an irregularly shaped nose. Such an appearance was more than just startling; it made me jump several times.

"Do you think you can just come and go as you please at my brothel?" the fat woman retorted angrily.

I closed my eyes, focused my energy, and shouted, "Return! Come out!" After that, I grabbed the dog and rushed upstairs.

"Ah?" the fat woman exclaimed in alarm. "Don't go up! Don't go up! Stop them! Ahhh..."

I didn't see Huifeng downstairs, so she's probably upstairs. I grabbed the dog with one hand and charged around.

When I climbed upstairs, I was dumbfounded. All the dozens of rooms upstairs, big and small, looked exactly the same.

Pushing open the door triggered a series of screams, causing utter chaos.

Holding the dog, I kicked open another door and immediately covered the dog's eyes... Not suitable for children.

The room was opulent and luxurious. A woman, draped in a thin veil and almost naked, sat on the lap of a man in blue robes. The scene was extremely ambiguous.

"Ah!" The woman screamed as soon as she saw the door being kicked open.

The man, however, calmly turned his head to look at us, his expression unperturbed.
