Chapter 225 Engagement Banquet
Upon arriving at Nanxi Mansion, Shen Qingshu did not go inside; instead, she called Zhang Yun.
Zhang Yun carried Xiao Nian'an, whose forehead had a fever-reducing patch, out of the mansion.
Song Lanyin followed.
Shen Qingshu stepped forward and took her son from Zhang Yun's hands.
She touched her son's cheek; he still had a slight fever.
"Xiao Nian'an, are you feeling unwell?" She looked at her son, her eyes filled with heartache.
Xiao Nian'an obediently shook her head, "Mom, don't worry, the doctor said that taking medicine will make me feel better."
The more sensible her son was, the more heartbroken Shen Qingshu felt.
She asked softly, "Do you want to go home with your mother?"
Xiao Nian'an nodded, "Yes."
Shen Qingshu looked at Song Lanyin.
Before she could speak, Song Lanyin spoke first.
“Miss Shen, if you are not busy this week, then I would like to ask you to take care of Xiao Nian’an for the time being.”

Xiao Nian'an's cheeks were flushed from the fever. She looked at her mother and blinked her big, dark eyes.
Song Lanyin came out quickly, carrying a mini suitcase.
"The medicine and some of Xiao Nian'an's homework are in there. Si Yan and I are going abroad, which will take about a week. Thank you for your hard work, Miss Chen."
Shen Qingshu took the mini suitcase and handed it to Zhang Yun.
Zhang Yun walked to the back of the car, opened the trunk, and put the suitcase in.
Shen Qingshu looked at Song Lanyin with a calm expression.

But Song Lanyin spoke to her more than once in the tone of 'Xiao Nian'an's guardian'.
She felt that Song Lanyin did it on purpose.
