Chapter 236 The Fu Family is About to Face Turmoil
Shen Qingshu received a call from Jin Que.
The two agreed to meet at the coffee shop downstairs from the studio.
Since learning about the relationship between Jin Que and Fu Siyan, Shen Qingshu has become somewhat distant from Jin Que.
Jin Que naturally noticed it as well.
The two sat by the window.
The streets were bustling with traffic, and soft music filled the coffee shop.
The waiter served them drinks.

He was somewhat surprised to see Shen Qingshu drinking an Americano.
The man cleared his throat, his voice gentle, "Coffee is cooling in nature, so you should drink less of it."
“I know.” Shen Qingshu looked at Jin Que with a calm expression. “Dr. Jin, you can speak your mind directly.”
Jin Que stared at her, feeling a little melancholy.
Although he had prepared himself mentally, when the moment actually arrived and he clearly felt Shen Qingshu's estrangement, he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness.
"I'm going back to the Fu family to acknowledge my ancestors." Jin Que looked into her eyes and said gently, "Fu Siyan should have received the news as well."

Shen Qingshu frowned, looking at Jin Que, waiting for him to continue.
“After my mother passed away, my father’s personality changed drastically. He said he wanted to remove Qin Fang from the Fu family genealogy and then bury my mother in the Fu family cemetery. He also hoped that I would replace Fu Siyan as the heir to the Fu family. He always felt that Qin Fang was a cuckoo in the nest. He hated Qin Fang and even hated Fu Siyan.”
Shen Qingshu sneered, "Your father truly loves your mother."
Jin Que looked at Shen Qingshu and could hear the sarcasm in her words.
He said, "My parents met in college and were in love with each other. It was Qin Fang who schemed against my father. After she got pregnant, she used every means to force my father to marry her. Shen Qingshu picked up her cup and took a sip of coffee.
She put down her cup and looked at Jin Que. "No matter what, I still want to thank you for telling me all this, letting me know that the Fu family is about to face a period of turmoil."
