Shen Qingshu coldly withdrew her gaze and turned to walk out of the courtyard.
Jiang Ruomi watched her retreating figure and called out, "Qingshu, give up! There are Jin Que's men everywhere here. You can't escape."
Shen Qingshu ignored him and strode towards the gate of the courtyard.
Before she even reached the gate, two tall foreign men stepped forward and blocked Shen Qingshu's path.
One of them said to her in English, "Please go back. Mr. Jin said that neither you nor Miss Jiang are allowed to leave this place."
Shen Qingshu stared at the two of them.
Seeing that she remained unmoved, the man's face darkened, and he warned again, "Go back, or don't blame us for being impolite!"
Shen Qingshu pursed her lips, took a deep breath, and turned to walk into the house.
As soon as she entered the house, Jiang Ruomi immediately pulled her to sit down at the dining table. "Qingshu, don't be so hard on yourself. This is N country. Unless Jin Que releases you on his own, you won't be able to get out."
Shen Qingshu stared at her. "If I go missing, my friends will definitely call the police."
“Qingshu, if I were you, I wouldn’t confront him head-on. Jin Que doesn’t like disobedient women.” Jiang Ruomi looked at Shen Qingshu, her eyes filled with complex emotions. “You should obey him. After all, you still have two children in China.”
Upon hearing this, Shen Qingshu's heart sank.
Jiang Ruomi was implying that if she didn't cooperate with Jin Que, Jin Que might threaten her with the two children.
Shen Qingshu looked Jiang Ruomi up and down. "Do you want me to marry Jin Que?"
Jiang Ruomi looked directly into Shen Qingshu's eyes and said, "I hope Jin Que is happy."
