Shen Qingshu walked to the seat opposite Fu Siyan and sat down.
Aunt Yun ladled out a bowl of millet porridge, placed it in front of her, glanced at Fu Siyan, and tried to smooth things over.
"Mr. Fu is just putting on a brave face; he doesn't want to show weakness in front of his two children!"
Fu Siyan cleared his throat, trying his best to make amends.

Shen Qingshu paused, turning her head to look at the man beside her. "Hmm?"
Fu Siyan looked at her with a serious expression, "I will find a time as soon as possible to have someone publish a clarification regarding my relationship with Qi Mingxuan."
Shen Qingshu loosened her seatbelt, pursed her lips and thought for a moment before saying, "Actually, Qi Mingxuan has had it tough too. The man's bandaged fingers gripped the back of the woman's neck, and under her slightly surprised gaze, he lowered his head and kissed her.
The moment their lips touched, their hearts seemed to explode.
Hot blood instantly surged through my body, carrying a slight tingling sensation that spread from my lips to the top of my head.
Fu Siyan's kiss was light and gentle, restrained and patient.
Having been separated for many years, both of them were single and therefore somewhat cautious with each other.
This kiss, led by a man, was not as passionate and intense as before, yet it was still unbearable for Shen Qingshu.
The woman's eyelashes fluttered wildly, and finally she couldn't resist slowly closing her eyes. Her slender white fingers tightly gripped the man's shirt, her ten fingers curled up, and her fingertips were numb.

A car passing by startled the couple inside.
Shen Qingshu felt incredibly guilty. She loosened her grip on his clothes, pressed her palm against his firm chest, and gently pushed him away.
Fu Siyan, still wanting more, didn't want to make things difficult for her, so he sucked on her again, this time more deeply, before finally letting her go.
Shen Qingshu's cheeks flushed, and she lowered her head, not daring to look at him. She pushed open the car door and got out of the car as if fleeing.
Fu Siyan immediately got out of the car and slammed the door shut.
Just before Shen Qingshu was about to enter the elevator, Fu Siyan grabbed her wrist.
"Ah Shu," the man's voice was low and hoarse, "wait."
Shen Qingshu pursed her lips and took a deep breath; her emotions had calmed down considerably.
She looked up and met the man's gaze. "What's wrong?"
Fu Siyan stared at her, his tender gaze sweeping over her rosy lips before finally meeting her eyes.
He pursed his thin lips, his Adam's apple bobbing, and mustered his courage to ask, "Does this count as us being together again?"
Chen Qingshu was taken aback.
You've already kissed, why are you asking this...?
However, Shen Qingshu looked at the man in front of her.
A thought suddenly flashed through my mind.
A slight smile played on her lips, her eyes holding a gentle warmth. "No, that doesn't count."
Fu Siyan's handsome face stiffened.
Shen Qingshu gently pushed his hand away. "Mr. Fu, please sort out your status as a 'married person' first, and then we can talk about our business."
"Okay, I'll handle it as soon as possible." Fu Siyan's voice was low. He paused, then asked, "Once it's handled, can I be promoted to a permanent position?"
"It's too early to become a full-time employee." Shen Qingshu raised her hand, her fingertips gently wiping away the lipstick smudged on the man's lips, her beautiful eyes curving slightly. "We have to get through the probationary period first."
