Chapter 1: Murder in a Dream

Jiangsha City is a southern city. There is no snow in the deep winter, but the wind is cold and dry.

As night falls, darkness is like a huge net.

At one o'clock in the morning, Mo Xiaoqing, who was staying in the duty room, couldn't resist the sleepiness and yawned.

Suddenly, a series of hurried footsteps sounded, and a white shadow suddenly stepped in from outside, shouting loudly, "I killed someone, I... I killed someone! I want to surrender!"

Mo Xiaoqing just walked out of the room, and was grabbed by the arm by the girl in the white dress in front of her. She screamed loudly,

"Officer, I killed someone, you quickly catch me!"

Mo Xiaoqing's heart skipped a beat. She had been assigned to Dongjing Street Police Station for three months and had never encountered a major case.

She didn't expect to run into this tonight, so she was inevitably a little excited. She quickly brought the girl who reported the case in and poured her a cup of hot water.

"Come on, drink some hot water first and calm down. We'll take it slowly."

The girl in white finally calmed down. Mo Xiaoqing asked, "What's your name? Your age? Where do you live? Where did you kill someone? Can you be more specific?"

The girl hunched her back slightly and trembled all over. She rubbed her hands vigorously, "Officer, my name is Huang Zhixiang, I'm 19 years old, and I really killed someone."

"Look, my hands are covered in blood." The girl stretched out her hands as she spoke.

The girl's eyes widened in horror, her eyes unfocused, and she continued trembling,

"I really killed someone just now, really! I held a sharp knife in both hands, and suddenly stabbed the woman in white in front of me. She screamed and fell in a pool of blood in pain.

She desperately asked me for help, begging me not to kill her, but I still grabbed the fruit knife and stabbed her four or five more times.

I didn't run away in terror until her voice begging for mercy completely disappeared. I felt the street lights flickering, so scary..." The girl's teeth were chattering.

"Okay, calm down and tell me where you killed the person?"

Mo Xiaoqing asked while looking at the girl in front of her. She was wearing a pink floral pajamas over a wrinkle-free white knee-length skirt, and her bare legs and bare feet were wearing a pair of 8-centimeter red high heels.

"Officer, I killed someone in my dream!" the girl said lightly.

Mo Xiaoqing was shocked by this, and subconsciously thought it was a prank. She said unhappily, "Little girl, this is a police station, not a place for you to play around! Do you know the consequences of reporting a false case?"

The girl stood up suddenly, grabbed Mo Xiaoqing's arm again, and looked over with begging eyes, "Officer, can you check if there have been any murders or injuries recently?"

Although Mo Xiaoqing thought it was ridiculous, she still picked up the contact phone to ask the police patrolling nearby, but the police said that except for a few drunk people who destroyed public property, there was nothing else unusual.

And in the past month, there have been no serious casualties in the entire city.

It might be a prank!

Mo Xiaoqing turned around and tried to persuade the girl to leave, when suddenly a gust of cold wind blew in from the door. She looked up and saw a tall figure sneaking in.

The man was wearing a black windbreaker, and most of his face was hidden in a linen-gray wool scarf.

Mo Xiaoqing was surprised as the man in front of her walked straight towards her while untying his scarf.

He half-leaned on the solid wood desk, took out a cigarette and lit it, glanced at Mo Xiaoqing, then looked at the shivering girl in white on the sofa, and asked, "What happened? What's wrong with this girl?"

His voice was unusually magnetic and thick, and also full of fatigue.

Mo Xiaoqin looked at his stern face, with a short stubble under his chin. His handsome appearance was decadent, but familiar.

"It's you!"

"It's you!"

the two said in unison. It was

one o'clock in the morning two days ago.

The street lights of Jiefang Road in Kuala Kangsar were bright.

Specialty bars were connected one after another, and the front of each bar was decorated in a retro and artistic style. It was deeply loved by young people. It has become a good place for young people to spend their youth, seek excitement, and party.

In a bar, the bizarre and dazzling lights flickered, swaying and shaking everywhere, the music was deafening, and a group of handsome men and beautiful women swayed their waists and hips to the rhythm.

Mo Xiaoqing sat in a corner of the bar booth, with a glass of iced beer in front of her, her eyes fixed on the bar all the time. She couldn't help but pull the hem of her skirt down several times. It was the first time she wore it like this and she was really not used to it.

In order to make herself look more like a "club girl" who often hangs out in bars, Mo Xiaoqing deliberately put on long brown wavy hair, wore extremely gaudy makeup, bright red lips, a low-necked red sweater with white fake fur, a hip-hugging skirt that just covered her buttocks, and a pair of eight-centimeter high heels on her long legs in black stockings.

The partner sitting next to Mo Xiaoqing questioned, "Sister, will your method work? Could it be false intelligence?"

"No, Lili, don't worry. The information from the offline is very reliable. He said that the online person who sells ecstasy will order a glass of wine at the bar, drink it slowly, and tap his fingers on the counter unconsciously, waiting for the buyer to come, and then make a deal secretly!"

Suddenly Lili came over excitedly, pulled Mo Xiaoqing's clothes, and whispered in her ear, "Sister, look, a suspicious man came, he ordered a glass of wine, his fingers were tapping on the bar, and his eyes were looking around."

Mo Xiaoqing followed Lili's line of sight, and sure enough, she saw a burly man drinking and looking around. It seemed to be him, for sure!

Lili repeatedly told Mo Xiaoqing to be careful. She actually didn't approve of Mo Xiaoqing's dangerous fishing method, but she knew that no one could stop what Mo Xiaoqing was going to do.

Mo Xiaoqing wore high heels as if she was walking on stilts, trying her best to keep her balance. She walked to the man at the bar in a swaying manner, lifted her wig, and smiled coquettishly,

"Handsome man, can you buy me a drink?"

Xu Yao frowned. Although the girl was not good-looking, he hated girls who hung out in bars, let alone such a frivolous woman who took the initiative to ask for drinks. I guess she would definitely not refuse if he invited her to get a room halfway through the drinking. How disrespectful!

But Xu Yao looked around and could sense that there were four or five people running towards him in the crowd. It seemed that he could only use this nightclub girl who came to him on her own initiative.

Xu Yao was very confident in himself. With his handsome appearance and affectionate eyes, he smiled and said, "Okay, but drinking is too childish. How about something more powerful?"

Mo Xiaoqing was delighted. It seemed that he was going to take her to see the goods. She calmed down her uneasy heart and replied, "Okay!"

Xu Yao didn't say anything. He took Mo Xiaoqing's hand and walked through the crowd to the private room at the back. His steps were quick and balanced. Before Mo Xiaoqing could react, he suddenly pushed her into the dark corner with a strong force.

When Xiaoqing was about to resist, Xu Yao locked her hands and rubbed them against her lips.

Her first kiss was taken away just like that!
