Chapter 13 Jingzhao Yin

"An'an, why are you here?" Gu Junwen pulled Shen An'an out of Wanhua Building quickly, and only then did he have time to ask.

"Sir, my father was worried after you left, so he asked me to come with you." Shen Anan made a beautiful sword flower and put away the sword.

If she hadn't taken the wrong road, she would have arrived long ago.

"Kyoto is a place of tigers and wolves. Deputy General Shen shouldn't have let you come." Gu Junwen closed his eyes and sighed repeatedly with worry in his heart.

She can't take care of herself anymore, how can she protect Shen Anan?

"I don't care. You left me once three years ago and almost didn't come back." Shen Anan said unhappily, her braids swaying slightly with her movements. "From childhood to adulthood, I've gone wherever you go. So what's next? Where are we going?"

Gu Junwen sighed half moved and half helpless, and pointed his finger at the vermilion gate in front of him.

That was Gu Junwen’s destination - the Jingzhao Prefecture Yamen.

Since it was on the way, she might as well go and check it out. After all, she would be spending three days here.

When he walked in and took a closer look, Gu Junwen couldn't stop praising it.

It was indeed the government office in Kyoto. It looked much better than the small shabby temple court at Hulao Pass that was leaking air from all sides.

Jingzhao Yinfu looked really grand, with its red high walls and gates looking majestic and inviolable. The blue-grey stone steps led all the way to the court.

If you look closely, you can even see flowers and plants dotted around, adding a touch of elegance.

There is a drum for complaining about grievances in front of the government gate. The drum surface is shiny, as if someone is wiping it from time to time.

It was almost lunch time and most of the officials in the palace had gone to eat. Only the doorman and the servant on duty were left, yawning lazily.

Gu Junwen walked straight into the government office and no one stopped him.

In front of the court hall where the case was being tried, there was only a palace soldier in red hiding in the shade beside the main pillar in front of the hall, his head nodding drowsily.

"Excuse me..." As a newcomer, Gu Junwen was afraid that there might be rules that he didn't know about and might offend someone accidentally, so he had to wake up the man with a very apologetic look.

There is no way, a strong dragon cannot defeat a local snake.

As a salted fish from the northern frontier, there is no way I can escape the chopping board in Kyoto.

Only by learning Kyoto’s lifestyle can you gain a foothold in Kyoto and be qualified to keep your original heart.

"Can't you see I'm resting?" The red-clothed soldier slowly opened his eyelids and glanced at Gu Junwen, his voice and expression full of impatience.

"It's noon, everyone else is resting, what are you doing here?" Shen Anan stepped forward and asked.

"Are you annoying?" The soldier opened his eyes and glanced fiercely at the person in front of him.

When he saw Shen Anan's pretty face, he couldn't take his eyes away.

"Forget it, it doesn't hurt to tell you. My young master Li Xianhua, my father is the magistrate of Jinghua County. I heard that General Gu will be coming soon, so I specially took Xiao Wang's place. If I catch General Gu's eye, I will be in his shoes in the future."

After saying that, Li Xianhua still thought she was very charming and flirted with him: "What do you think, girl, would you consider following me?"

"Then Xiao Wang is willing to exchange with you?" Gu Junwen interrupted, "This is also a good opportunity for him."

"That country bumpkin is nothing but a stinky vegetable seller. If he wasn't lucky, would he be worthy of standing with this young master?" said the palace soldier with disdain, rolling his eyes.

He looked at Gu Junwen, an ordinary plainclothes man, and snorted, as if he smelled something, and suddenly pinched his nose:

"Stay away from me, you country bumpkin. Don't get acquainted with my poor air. I'm in a good mood today and don't want to deal with you. Get out of here. You can't come to Jingzhao Yinfu."

Gu Junwen looked down at his outfit. Although it was not outstanding, it was not bad enough to be called a "country bumpkin."

This is intolerable. Damn it, did Baozi provoke you?

"Host, you have missed the point. The point is that he is scolding you." System 101 held his forehead and sighed.

"Indeed, I am a salted fish, not a bumpkin." Gu Junwen also slapped his head and suddenly realized.

Only the palace soldiers and System 101 were left with puzzled faces. Shen Anan had long been accustomed to Gu Junwen's surprise.

As the three of them stared at each other, the prefect of Jingzhao Yinfu strolled out from the side hall with his hands behind his back.

"Sir, you seem to be in a good mood today." The palace soldier immediately stepped forward, bowed his head and followed behind Prefect Zheng.

"Xiao Li, why are you here today? I remember it's Xiao Wang's turn to be on duty today." Zheng Zhong and Zheng Fuyin had just sent away the three evil stars and were in a good mood.

"This little Wang likes to be sneaky and play tricks on me on weekdays, but today he actually asked me to take his place on duty."

Li Xianhua looked indignant, as if Xiao Wang had really committed a heinous crime.

His performance left Gu Junwen and Shen Anan speechless. If it weren’t for the conversation just now, they would have almost believed it.

“Shameless.” Shen Anan was so angry that he wanted to draw his sword.

"It's a disgrace to morality." Gu Junwen took advantage of the situation to hold down Shen Anan's restless hand, not looking at Shen Anan's breathless expression, "Don't be impulsive."

"Who's there?" When Zheng Fuyin heard the voice, he slowly turned around and noticed a master and servant standing in front of the hall.

The woman had a red headband, her sleeves and trousers were tied tightly, and she had a sword hanging from her waist, looking heroic. However, she was full of murderous aura, and it was obvious that she had been on the battlefield for a long time or had lived on the edge of a knife.

Tsk tsk tsk, you really can't judge a person by his appearance

The man seemed to be of high status. He had a delicate face, and could be said to have a feminine appearance. He wore dark-colored casual clothes and was very low-key, except for the jade pendant with cloud pattern tied around his waist, which was very similar to General Gu's jade pendant.

resemblance!

Zheng Fuyin felt his head buzzing. How could this be a resemblance? This was clearly Gu Junwen, whom he had sued this morning.
