Chapter 43 Entering the Ghostland!

Holding the red invitation in hand, the group rushed directly to Tangchi Ancient Town without saying a word!

The ancient town of Tangchi, which was shrouded in white fog, automatically dispersed the fog and opened a passage after Wen Xi showed the red invitation.

"Yes, it is indeed the entrance to the domain!"

Yao Qianqian had been to the ghost realm before and had some impression of its entrances and exits.

"Let's go in quickly."

Song Shilin couldn't wait to stretch out his long legs, and the group hurried in.

Behind them, there was a sneaky figure who quickly followed the entrance before it was completely closed.

After entering the domain, the white mist in front of my eyes completely disappeared.

The long and dark street, the ancient town, the shops along the street, some of their doors were half-open, some were tightly closed, all of them emitting faint green and red light, shining on the street.

"Hiss! There's a lot of ghost energy here, Chen Zhao, be careful and remember to protect them."

Yao Qianqian was frightened by the ghostly aura here. A layer of frost had formed on her fingertips, ready to strike out at any time.

Chen Zhao was also very cautious. "Okay, Mr. Song, you have to follow closely behind me."

Song Shilin was in a state of confusion. His cold eyes kept searching the surrounding shops, trying to find Song Shiming.

I couldn't help but shout, "Song Shiming, where are you?"

The sound echoed in the ancient town. Suddenly, a red light flashed before my eyes, and with a creak, a door was opened.

A shadow of a person was dragged in, letting out a miserable cry.

"Xiao Ming?"

Song Shilin showed a look of horror and hurriedly chased after him.

After the person entered, the door was closed heavily.

"Damn! Where are the people?"

Yao Qianqian blinked, and Song Shilin disappeared. She slapped Chen Zhao hard and cursed, "I asked you to protect the good guy, why did you let him act on his own? What if something goes wrong?"

Chen Zhao wanted to cry, but he couldn't. "I didn't expect that. He ran too fast, and I didn't react!"

"What now?"

"Of course, go in and find someone!"

Wen Xi spoke coldly, walked straight to the door of the store that Song Shilin had just entered, and reached out to push the door open.

Yao Qianqian's expression changed drastically, and she quickly spoke to stop him, "Don't do that! You must not open the door to the ghost realm!"

Who knows what the hell is in there?

"Why don't you open the door and go in to find them, and wait outside to collect their bodies?"

Wen Xi said lightly, and with a move of his hand, he opened the door.

A red light suddenly appeared, and Wen Xi walked in calmly.

"Come on, let's go in too."

Yao Qianqian naturally couldn't just leave the two of them alone, so she pulled Chen Zhao and followed him in just before the door closed.

The glaring red light made people's eyes uncomfortable. When the red light dissipated, Wen Xi opened his eyes, looked up at the gloomy sky, and found himself in an ancient house.

She was standing in an open-air courtyard, surrounded by white cloths, as if some kind of funeral was taking place.

"Huh! Aren't we in Tangchi Ancient Town? Where is this place?"

Yao Qianqian and Chen Zhao had obviously entered the same space as her and quickly followed.

"It looks like a funeral is being held here?"

As Chen Zhao was speaking, there was a noise coming from the front.

A group of people who looked like servants were escorting a woman wearing a phoenix coronet and a red robe into the hall.

"No! I don't want to get married! Please let me go, he's dead, I'm still alive, I can't marry him, I can't marry a dead man!"

The bride screamed heartbreakingly, her tears washing away her makeup. The beads on the phoenix crown scraped against her face, drawing blood. The bride's pale face was instantly covered with bloodstains, and her eyes bulged out with fear, looking horrible.

A huge coffin appeared in the originally empty hall, surrounded by paper figures, burning incense and candles, and tablets standing high up. The air was filled with an eerie atmosphere.

A middle-aged man said expressionlessly, "It's because he's dead and you're still alive that you have to go down with him. Otherwise, how lonely would he be?"

"Quick! The auspicious time has arrived! Stuff her in there and bury her!"

With an order, the servant stuffed the bride into the coffin without any explanation.

A rotten corpse was lying in the coffin, and through the dead flesh, one could vaguely make out that it was a man. The bride looked at him and let out a scream of fear and despair. The lid was closed, and the servants picked up hammers and hammered nails into the coffin without any emotion, sealing them in the coffin for eternity.

I could still hear the bride's desperate cries for help and the sound of her nails scratching at the coffin lid.

Yao Qianqian looked reluctant, "Oh my god, this is totally illegal. Burying someone alive? No wonder the yin energy is so strong."

Chen Zhao was puzzled. "Aren't we in Tangchi Ancient Town? Why do we see this when we open the door?"

Wen Xi looked up at the sky where snow was beginning to fall, and said calmly, "This is what the ghost in this door wants to show us."

Before they could understand, everything went dark in front of their eyes!

Wen Xi opened her eyes and found that it was dark all around her. She seemed to be lying somewhere. She raised her hand and touched something hard. She groped around and felt many scratches on the wall. She smelled the smell of soil at the tip of her nose.

"In the coffin?"

A ghostly wheezing sound came from the side, and bursts of cold air sprayed on her cheeks, with a smell of decaying corpse.

Wen Xi calmly turned his head and met a pair of rotten, empty eyeballs. The flesh on the mouth had been corroded away, revealing the white bones, and the teeth were grinning in a sinister smile.

"Laugh at your sister!"

Wen Xi complained, "Your smile is so ugly, can you please stop smiling? I want to vomit!"

The corpse became angry and stopped smiling. A ball of green light suddenly appeared and began to spread from Wen Xi's feet.

Wen Xi remained calm and called out, "Evil spirit, come out and open the coffin!"

The ancient copper coin vibrated, and black mist floated out. The evil spirit squeezed into the crowded coffin and couldn't help cursing, "Damn, what kind of hell is this place? It's so crowded!"

"It's a coffin. If you don't do something, I'll bury you alive with it!"

Wen Xi's light words made the evil spirit tremble, and he flattered her, "Don't worry, Miss Wen, I'll do it right away!"

The evil ghost is indeed an evil ghost!

Ghost energy erupted, and with a loud bang, the coffin lid was blown off. Darkness enveloped the rotten corpse next to it, and it began to eat with a "smacking" sound.

"Pooh, pooh, pooh, what the hell is this? It tastes so bad!"

The evil ghost threw the rotten corpse away in disgust. There was no rotten flesh on the body, only bones.

This evil ghost is not picky about food, he even eats rotten corpses!

Wen Xi jumped out of the coffin and found that they were in a dim shop with four coffins in total.

There were sounds coming from inside the coffin.

"Ahhh, don't bite me! I'm not tasty and I don't have much meat on me! I also have athlete's foot. Be careful not to eat me and my mouth will get rotten!"

"Grape, you big pineapple! What the hell are you? How dare you release your evil spirit towards me? Freeze!"

"Where is my brother! Hand my brother over to me, ahhhh!"
