Chapter 1952 Wang San's Escape

Despite the pain from being hit by Sha Zhu, Wang San forced a smile and said to Qin Huairu, "Yes, I have another house outside, but it's a bit small and hasn't been cleaned in a long time."

"I always thought the houses there were no longer needed."

At this point, Wang San couldn't help but smile wryly and say, "Now it's all good, now it can be used!"

"Then I'll pack my things now. It's better if we stay away from that madman, Sha Zhu!" Upon hearing Wang San's words, Qin Huairu realized that there was another place to stay outside so she wouldn't have to argue with Jia Zhangshi. She immediately started packing her things.

"There's no need to rush. It would be better if we left now! Everyone will be asleep by then!" Wang San instructed Qin Huairu.

Even though he had already been beaten up by Sha Zhu, Wang San still wanted to save face and didn't want others to see him slink away in disgrace.

Qin Huairu stopped what she was doing, glanced at Wang San, and said, "Okay, I'll do whatever you say!"

After Wang San and Qin Huairu finished speaking, neither of them said anything. Qin Huairu didn't know what to say to Wang San either.

If she didn't still need Wang San for food, Qin Huairu would even be a little happy. After all, Wang San was messing around here, and he deserved to be beaten up now.

As for asking Qin Huairu to comfort Wang San, Qin Huairu felt she wasn't that shameless.

Wang San wouldn't say anything to Qin Huairu anymore. He knew that his current predicament was entirely his own doing, and he couldn't blame anyone else.

Although Wang San had made preparations, he really didn't expect that Sha Zhu would find out so quickly, and that he would come looking for trouble so soon.

According to Wang San's original plan, even if Sha Zhu found out about this, it would be a long time later. By then, even if Sha Zhu wanted to settle accounts with him, he might not be able to find him, as he would have already moved out of the compound.

Who could have imagined things would develop so quickly? It's not surprising that Wang San thought this way. If this had happened in another compound, it might have taken a long time for the news to reach Sha Zhu's ears.

But who made Wang San live in Compound No. 95? There were no good people in that compound. Everyone was a gossip who loved to see things go wrong. Everyone wished they could beat the dogs to a pulp.

Especially since Wang San's actions were outmaneuvered by both Yi Zhonghai and Xu Damao, it would be strange if Wang San had a good ending.

Wang San covered his face, which was swollen from being slapped by Sha Zhu, and felt extremely awkward. He was a well-known figure on the street.

So why did I keep getting beaten up after arriving at this compound? Ever since I got involved with Qin Huairu, I've just been constantly getting beaten up by Sha Zhu.

He didn't even have a chance to get revenge; he just got beaten up.

Qin Huairu and Wang San looked at each other in silence. Seeing that everyone in the courtyard had turned off their lights, Qin Huairu also turned off her own lights, but neither of them went to sleep.

Wang San simply couldn't sleep; he was in soreness from being beaten by Sha Zhu that he couldn't fall asleep at all. Qin Huairu was also worried about her future, wondering what kind of life she would have with Wang San. Qin Huairu was so worried that she couldn't sleep.

Qin Huairu sat on the edge of the bed, while Wang San lay on the bed. Neither of them made a sound until they reached the courtyard, where there was still no movement.

It wasn't until late at night that Qin Huairu turned on the lights in the room and quickly began packing her and Wang San's belongings. Fortunately, neither of them had much stuff, and they finished packing very quickly.

Qin Huairu walked to the bedside and shook Banggeng, waking him up from his deep sleep. She dressed the groggy Banggeng and then had him put on his schoolbag.

Then Qin Huairu hugged Xiao Dang in her arms and said to Wang San, "Take the things, let's go!"

Wang San nodded and carried the things Qin Huairu had packed on his back.

Then Qin Huairu turned off the room lights, and the four of them quietly left the room. After Qin Huairu carefully locked the door, she led Wang San outside.

Soon, the four of them left the courtyard. Unlike Jia Zhangshi, Qin Huairu did not leave the courtyard gate wide open after leaving. Instead, she closed the gate tightly from the outside.

"Where are we going?" Qin Huairu didn't know where Wang San's other house was, so she could only turn to ask Wang San.

At this point, Banggeng, who was still half asleep, woke up a bit and, seeing the whole family coming out of the house, asked with some confusion, "Mom, where are we going?"

Qin Huairu patted Banggeng's head and comforted him, "Banggeng, be good, we're moving! You can sleep wherever you want after we get to our new home!"

"Okay, fine!"

Although Banggeng was half asleep and somewhat unwilling, he didn't cause any trouble outside.

After Wang San waited until Qin Huairu had calmed Bang Geng down, he said to her, "Come on, follow me. It's a bit of a journey; it might take us an hour to walk!"

When Qin Huairu heard Wang San say it was a bit far, she didn't expect it to be this far. She couldn't help but look at Wang San and say, "This is too far! I'm fine, but I'm worried about the child!"

As she spoke, Qin Huairu looked down at Banggeng, who was tugging at her clothes. She was fine walking this far on her own, but she was worried that Banggeng wouldn't be able to walk that far.

"It's okay, I can carry him on my back for a while if he can't walk anymore!"

"It's not that far. If we walk fast, we'll get there quickly!" Wang San said helplessly. He couldn't just leave the child behind like that.

Qin Huairu could only nod in agreement after hearing what Wang San had said.

"Well... we're not in a rush. We can just walk slower! You were injured tonight, so you need to be careful!"

This isn't like inside the compound. If Wang San were in trouble, he could call someone anytime. But if something happened to Wang San outside, he would really just have to wait to die.

Therefore, Qin Huairu would rather walk a little slower herself than tire Wang San out, since Wang San was now her only support.

Wang San nodded silently when he heard Qin Huairu's words. They had already left the compound, so nothing else mattered; it was just a matter of sooner or later.
