Jiang Yining woke up to the smell of disinfectant and the cool touch of the IV drip on the back of her hand. Before her eyes was the white ceiling of the hospital room, and Xie Shiyan, who was sitting by her bedside, holding her right hand tightly, his eyes filled with worry and exhaustion.
Xiao Xiao and Lu Jingshen had already returned home, while Xie's parents were busy arranging for repairs to the two luxury cars that had "closely collided." Xie's mother murmured with lingering fear, "Thank goodness, Ningning only stopped after hitting Ayan's car. What if she had driven somewhere else and caused an accident..."

Jiang Yining thought to herself: How could he not support me? He'd be happy if I didn't have to go to the company and could just stay home and collect my salary without any problem, right?
