Have I told you I love you?

Bei Jing felt a lump in her throat, took the bouquet of roses, and rushed into Jun Chen's arms.

"I like it, thank you, honey." Her voice had a slight nasal tone, soft and sweet.

"I'm glad you like it." He tightened his grip slightly, holding the little one tightly in his arms, as if afraid the little one would catch a cold.

"Husband." The girl's voice was low, but it revealed a firmness.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" He lowered his strong chin to the top of the little girl's head and gently stroked it.

"Have I told you I love you?" Bei Jing sniffed and tightened her grip on Jun Chen's waist.

"No." As if knowing what the little one in his arms was about to say, Junchen couldn't help but smile.

"Husband, I love you." Her warm, sweet voice, tinged with a touch of coquettishness, sounded like a vow—earnest, firm, and full of love.

Jun Chen's chest trembled with each laugh. Bei Jing was displeased. Why was Jun Chen laughing so much when she was confessing her love to him so affectionately?

She lifted her little face from Junchen's embrace, only to be met with a handsome face full of smiles.

His dark brown eyes were overflowing with affection as he lowered his head and gently pecked the little girl's lips.

"I'm so happy, my wife. I love you so much."

Bei Jing's ears turned red, and she took Jun Chen's well-defined hand, their fingers intertwined.

"You have to hold my hand forever, and you can't let go."

He grasped the little one's hand in return, his dark brown eyes gazing into the depths of Bei Jing's bright black eyes, his noble face filled with seriousness.

"Okay, I won't let go, I'll never let go."

"Old woman, don't be angry. The roses just happened to be sold out. I'll come back tomorrow to buy you some more, okay?"

Two elderly people with graying temples walked slowly. The old man coaxed the old woman and said apologetic words.

The old lady was holding an umbrella, angry and unwilling to talk to the old man, but the umbrella was tilted towards him.

"Grandpa, these flowers are for you." The delicate bouquet of roses looked even more beautiful against the backdrop of pure white snowflakes.

A big smile bloomed on Bei Jing's delicate and pretty face as she handed a bouquet of roses to the old man.

“Young lady, no, no, this won’t do. This is a gift from the young man. How can I, an old man, accept it?”

The old man quickly refused, and the old woman chimed in, "That's right, young lady, this is a young man's heartfelt gift to you. How can we accept it? Take it back, take it back!"

Bei Jing glanced at Jun Chen, then smiled at the two elders and said, "It's alright, my husband won't mind, right, honey?"

Jun Chen's noble and handsome face wore a faint smile, and his tone was gentle, "Yes, please accept it. My wife and I are very envious of your relationship."

We also hope to grow old together in love like you two, so please accept these flowers as a blessing to us two young people.

Junchen's words moved the two elderly people. Beijing smiled and placed the flowers in his arms into the old man's hand.

"This is for Grandma, we're leaving now, goodbye~" After saying that, afraid that the two elderly people would return the flowers, she pulled Junchen away quickly.

"Old woman, this..." The old man looked at his wife with difficulty, afraid that she would be angry if he took the young girl's flowers.

The old lady smiled, watching Bei Jing and Jun Chen's retreating figures, a faint smile appearing at the corners of her eyes.

He said nostalgically, "Old man, tell me, don't these two kids look just like us when we were young?"

"Hey, it's true! Here, old woman, happy golden wedding anniversary! You have to marry me again in your next life!"

"Go away, you're so old and still being so cheeky!"

Legend has it that if two people who love each other enough watch the first snow together, they will grow old together.
