He's a total henpecked husband!

Junchen is sick.

Not long after returning to the Jun family home, Jun Chen began to cough intermittently.

Bei Jing stared at the number indicated by the red bar on the thermometer: 39℃!

She glared at Junchen, wanting to say something to blame him, but then swallowed back her words when she heard Junchen cough.

"Honey, it's nothing. Just a common cold. Cough cough cough."

Bei Jing gently patted Jun Chen's shoulder, touched Jun Chen's forehead, and then touched his own forehead, which was a little hot.

"How about we call your doctor friend from last time over and get him to prescribe some medicine or something?"

Nie Sinian? Jun Chen's brows furrowed imperceptibly.

It's good that he relaxed, so he won't pass on his cold to the little one later.

"Honey, my phone is over there. Can you call Nie Sinian for me? My throat is a little sore."

"Okay." Bei Jing picked up the phone on the tea table and swiped the screen.

"Password?" Bei Jing looked at Jun Chen.

"It's your birthday." Junchen's lips curled into a slight smile.

"Oh, oh." How did Junchen know his birthday? He must have heard it from his older brother.

"Hello? Chen, what's up?" The call connected quickly, and Nie Sinian's unserious voice came through.

"Um, my husband has caught a cold, and it's quite serious. Do you have some time? Could you come over if you can?"

Beijing was very polite to her husband's friend.

The girl on the phone spoke softly, completely unlike the domineering and fierce girl whom Nie Sinian had seen in the bar that day, the one his friends called Brother Jing.

Nie Sinian swallowed hard, not expecting Beijing to be so polite.

"Okay, sister-in-law, give me fifteen minutes, I'll be right there."

"Thank you, you've gone to so much trouble." Bei Jing sincerely thanked Nie Sinian, after all, it was late at night and he had gone out of his way to send someone over.

"You're welcome, sister-in-law, you're too kind. It's my pleasure."

Nie Sinian's hands were trembling slightly as he held the first-aid kit, and his mind was a little dazed as he held the phone after ending the call.

As I opened the car door and sat in the driver's seat, I suddenly burst out laughing. Chen's little friend is quite polite. That "sister-in-law" was well-deserved!

Junchen gently ruffled Beijing's hair, a faint smile on his face. "Wife."

"Hmm?" Bei Jing picked up the kettle, poured a cup of hot water, blew on it gently, and only brought it to Jun Chen's lips when his hand felt it wasn't so hot anymore.

Bei Jing's thoughtful gesture made Jun Chen's lips curl into a smile, his heart feeling as if it had been gently caressed by a feather, a tingling sensation.

After drinking a few sips of hot water, her whole body warmed up. She buried her head in Bei Jing's neck and comfortably closed her dark eyes.

His magnetic voice was slightly hoarse due to a cold.

"Wife, it's so good to have you."

Bei Jing stroked Jun Chen's dark, silky hair. "Be good, don't talk. Your voice is hoarse. After you take your medicine, lie down and go to sleep, okay?"

"Okay, I'll listen to my wife."

——————————————

Nie Sinian walked in with Tang Hai, carrying a medicine box, and saw the two of them cuddling together.

Junchen looks just like a large dog clinging to its owner's shoulder and acting cute.

Nie Sinian covered his face; it was too awful to look at.

He really wanted to take out his phone, snap a picture of Junchen looking like this, and then send it to those people.

The infamous Second Master Jun, feared by all in Kyoto, a man who reigns supreme in V Kingdom like an emperor.

In front of his wife, he's like a docile lion begging for affection. Tsk tsk tsk, what a complete henpecked husband!
